My husband and I had been looking for a good, reliable but affordable car for my 16 year old son for nearly a year with no luck. Then we saw SVS advertising a 2005 Toyota Camry. As soon as we met, Sorin Salagean, we new we could trust him. Soft spoken and kind, he was very knowledgeable about his cars. He was also honest and up front about where he got the Camry, how long he’d had it, possible issues and benefits. He drove all over waco with us for 45 minutes and was happy to allow all of us to drive. I felt very comfortable buying the car from him. Three days later, we had some unforeseen mechanical issues and called Mr Salagean for help. He was surprised and dismayed that we’d had any problems and promised to fix them immediately. He then drove the car back to his lot and fixed everything that day. My son has his car back within a few hours, and it has been driving great ever since. I have another son in the market for a car, and if we can get one from SVS Auto Sales for him, we absolutely will. When my daughter begins driving, SVS will be our first stop.

Not a good experience. Bought a car from them for $1250--I knew it was a clunker, but I just needed something to get me around. Salesman insisted that apart from the occasional shaking the engine made (which was probably a computer problem), the car was good value for the money. He and his family had used it for years, he said. Day after I bought the car, the front tire blew. Opened up the trunk to find the spare tire was missing, and also the jack needed to lift the car. Also discovered the back seat was improperly mounted. Took it to a mechanic, he said the other tire needed to be replaced too, and also the brakes. The tires and brakes I understand--again, I knew it was a clunker--but I should have at least been informed about the missing spare and jack. Two months later, car's transmission collapsed. Again, mechanic had missed this, so I can see how the salesman would, but the wrecker that came by to pick up the car showed me how it had been clearly bought from an auction and never driven, in contrast to what I had been told. In sum, I knew the car was junk when I bought it, but I would have appreciated the owner being forthright about the missing tire and jack, and also not have fed me a story about his family using it "for years."
