This place knows guns. I had a pistol I needed taken care of because I bit off more than I could chew, I brought it in pieces and I was told it wouldn’t be an issue. A week later I got it back in better condition than when it left the factory. They do exemplary cleaning and gunsmithing.

I wish I never went to this Business. Terrible communication. They could not complete the job and then still charge a discounted price for the job that was not completed. They took weeks over the expected completion date to still not complete the service. Then yelled at me, screaming it wasn’t his fault and when I was just expressing frustration. The owner was very disrespectful.

I will come here for all icing and cherry on top procedures on all my guns. He zeroed it and tightend a Optic I didn't even know was lose.

If I could do zero stars I would.They completely were worthless in every aspect of my transaction. Double charged their fee on my credit card and made no attempt to correct it despite me calling multiple times. Took several days to ship an item that they said would go out that day or the next. Took several more phone calls to simply get a tracking number. Then they shipped my $1500 handgun in a package you wouldn’t mail a brick in. Arrived with broken sights and that cost me another $100 elsewhere. I would say buyer beware they will let you down. I would have loved to show up at the store in person from a few hundred miles away but then I would have probably been in trouble with the law so decided to leave an honest review instead. Not recommended whatsoever go somewhere else.

They had my sons 2 pistols for almost a year. Same old story ever time he went to pick them up. All the parts were available but they couldn't seem to get them. He finally went and got them and the person waiting on him told him that they had all the business that they needed and wouldn't miss his. Don't take anything to them!!

?SHANE SPENCER is a person who over-promises and under-delivers! Someone on this page, THE GUN CLEANERS in Waco TX, mentioned they were surprised at all the bad reviews. Listen, don't be surprised. I run an LLC and wanted to make an order without a lot of fuss so my wonderful EX would not get wind of it and try to cause problems. Now, I don't care. On the phone SHANE SPENCER gives you the hard sell. What is the hard sell? It is where you really need to place your order TODAY or it might be out of stock and also you won't get it shipped soon if you don't. I didn't fall for the hard sell, but did go in the store a few weeks later and put a deposit down on an order. The dealio with SHANE SPENCER is that they order something and can get it the next day or 2 days later, tops. I placed an order on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 last week. SHANE SPENCER said it likely would not come in Wednesday because he may not make contact with the company until Wed. No problem. SHANE SPENCER then said to me while I was there in his shop to look for it Thursday, but Friday at the latest. I bet you are thinking that no matter what happened with my order, SHANE SPENCER called me on Friday to give me an update. NO he did not. I bet you are thinking if SHANE SPENCER did not bother to call me on Friday to update me on my order, he surely called me on Monday. NO he did not. So, one of the "FAKE" positive reviewers here on this page made this comment: "I don't know why THE GUN CLEANERS IN WACO TX is getting so many bad reviews." Lol, if you are reading this, you shouldn't have to wonder. Let me remind you: OVER PROMISE, UNDER DELIVER. I, the paying customer, was the one who called last Friday to see if my order was in. I was told no. I was told that a tracking number wasn't even given to SHANE SPENCER. Ok, there is no fire here I thought to myself. It probably will come on Monday. As you just previously read, SHANE SPENCER neglected to call me on Monday, so today, Tuesday April 20, 2021, I called expecting NOT to have my order because after all, if my order had come in, surely they would have called, correct? SHANE SPENCER was not in when I called, but to his credit, he did return my call. When confronted about my delayed order and bad communication, SHANE SPENCER said I was HARASSING and THREATENING him. I asked him how inquiring about my order was some kind of threat? He said I never ordered last Tuesday, but it was only last Friday and he said COVID had slowed everything down shipment-wise. Ok, so SHANE SPENCER was now calling, the customer, A LIAR! Yeah, so far a very good experience! Also, if shipments were slow or fast, there still would be a tracking, no? Nope, not when you are dealing with SHANE SPENCER of THE GUN CLEANERS LLC in Waco! Last April 2020, this COVID excuse might have been believable, but in April 2021, COVID is not slowing shipments down like what we all experienced last Year in 2020. I then informed SHANE SPENCER that I had his receipt with the date of April 13, 2021. April 13 was last Tuesday!! I said, that is not a threat, it is simply stating the facts and asking about getting my order or getting a refund. Then, SHANE SPENCER blew up. Lol, ok then, for SHANE SPENCER, if a customer says they would like either their order or a refund, I guess the customer is then becoming threatening. SHANE SPENCER said he did not like me talking over him. He said he was the ONLY gun store in town that would work with me ...implying I was lucky. I don’t know why he made that remark, but possibly because I wasn’t ordering a firearm...who knows? I asked him if he was the owner or if it was the Houston store (THE GUN CLEANERS) that were the true orders. SHANE SPENCER blew up again and screamed: I AM THE OWNER! I tried to continue, but SHANE SPENCER hung up the phone on me. 1. Am I going to be out of $100 for my deposit? Yes, temporarily, but I am going to initiate a charge-back which should eventually get me my money back. 2. Will this be the only review

Absolute best gun services shop I’ve ever been to. I came in with my shotgun at 3:30pm knowing that I needed it for dove hunting the next day, and they were so kind to expedite the process and fixed it for me that very day! Best service possible, nicest people possible. I’ll be definitely coming back!

I tried to make appointment for gunsmithing work and they don’t take appointments. You bring it in and leave it and they get to it when they can. May be a month or 2 months before you get it back. I’ve never done business that way. I’ve always made appointment so you don’t have to be without firearm for long period. Just my opinion.

Had a great time in here. Came our from california. Saw a few gun stores. All were nice. This place had the friendly nice atmosphere and employees. Owner came out to help too.

The staff were incredibly kind, considerate, and easy to get along with. I did not need my shotgun cleaned or repaired, but due to my inexperience I needed help with disassembly and reassembly. Instead of taking my brand new Benelli and placing it on the 2 month waiting list for their very busy gunsmith, they walked me through and assisted me with getting it back in operating condition as well as educating me the entire time. I cannot stress how nice the level of hospitality was, and it came with a high quality level of expertise and professionalism. I would recommend this place to anyone, and I will be returning here for all of my future maintenance and cleaning.

These guys do awesome work and can be trusted with your firearms. Give them a call and see what they can do for you. They help me replace my sights on my pistol and refinish my rifle.

My dad took his gun here to be cleaned and was given this back. We were given the owners phone number and tried to contact him multiple times, yet the owner never returned any of his phone calls. I would not recommend taking your guns here.
