Made a reservation to pick up a trailer no csr wanted to check me out or work they argued who was going to do the rental .Use to be a gm for this company never seen such poor quality of service . I will be doing business with a U-Haul dealer instead of Waco drive center place is a joke must be under a different marketing company in the U-Haul system Joe Shoen ceo of U-Haul needs to make another visit to Waco tx bet his shareholders are losing money at that location . Mcp needs to do his job an get that location on point total thrash.

I bought a hitch from them which they installed.
Communication was difficult and we miscommunicated a number of times about when they could install the hitch.
But what makes this a five star review is that when the manager, Sonia, came in she helped me understand where things had gone wrong. She went above and beyond any reasonable expectations to make it right. Ultimately she brought an employee in special to put on my hitch.
When I didn’t think they could do the job I called around for someone else to do the work and even counting a lost day of work as part of the price due to miscommunication their cost was hundreds less than other hitch installers.

They did not explain themselves and then I put the gas where they told me and still charged me 56 dollars I have photos I will NEVER use them again 1400 for 4 days was ridiculous plus the 400 in gas and I rented it's another day and tried to charge me a late fee haha crazy people if u rent another day u get a whole day so she finally took it off. They tried everything to get extra money.

Worst customer service EVER! Sonia, the manager of this location is the most unprofessional person I have ever done business with. She lied to me about U-Haul policy in order to charge me almost double what I should have paid for my rental then later became so confrontational that her unhinged behavior had me legitimately concerned for my safety and the safety of my 3 year old daughter who was with me. I expected to receive a call from the Regional Manager regarding my awful experience yesterday but that was not done and I am still left shocked, frustrated, and angry with the whole ordeal.
The manager of this location has no business managing anything. Her behavior is extremely reckless and a major liability for U-Haul.

Initially the employees here were nice enough as I stopped in to check on my reservation and buy moving supplies....
On my moving day, The manager and her employees were rude! I spent over $2500 buying supplies and renting a truck and car hauler from this location and received very little quality customer service. The initial employee who came to look at the truck when I told him the check engine light was on and we were getting a weird fuel line alert was arguing with me about checking the codes. Then, the manager was curt, non-communicative, and ended up clearing codes on a truck that had issues and let us leave in it, getting ready to travel cross country in a truck that had a major fuel leak!
The employees didn't ask if we needed to rent any other moving materials which resulted in us having to return to the store, nor did they advise us of the text we would receive and the procedure to document the trucks conditions and fuel levels at the time of pick up. I don't rent uhauls every day and get tons of texts that are irrelevant... Customer service at that location needs a BIG upgrade!
I'm grateful that Uhaul roadside assistance (completely separate from the pick up location) was professional, timely and friendly otherwise my whole move would have been derailed!

The propane refill is shady. I was charged $3.95 for almost 8 gallons when filling up a 4.7 gallon/20lb tank. Yup, $30+ for something that should have been around $18. Go to ace, or the country stores. Way cheaper and more friendly.

On 0900 28 August 2023 I came to the office ready to pick up a 10-foot truck with accessories for move to Arizona. I previously checked-in online. When I got there the lady said she needed a phone number to call someone to verify the truck with be returned. What kind of foolishness is this? I am clearly identified with good credit and a history of renting, why would I not return the truck. I gave her the office number of the apartment I already leased in Arizona. Had to wait 2 hours for office to open because of the difference in time zone. The wait another hour for the office to answer voice mail. I wasted 3 1/2 hours all the while these ladies are laughing, mocking, asking for another number to call. After all was done the lady said all they needed was a copy of the new apartment lease while laughing and asking for a number to call. I was being harassed. The wasted time meant I was behind in moving out.
