If I could give no stars I would. This is the absolute worst post office in Waco. They have lost multiple packages of mine on 3 different occasions now and offered no solution. I have spent countless hours at this point on the phone with the claim center for them to waste my time and inform me that “unless the retailer I purchased my items from paid them extra for insurance I will not be refunded” even if the loss of my money and items is at their hands. Apparently paying shipping and handling means nothing. What a joke. I honestly wish more retailers offered you a choice of whom your items are delivered with because I assure you I would pay extra every time to go through any other carrier besides USPS and recommend to every person I meet to do the same.

USPS continues to go downhill. Now they’ve removed the drop box outside. This seems to continue to occur.

Apparently my postal carrier can’t read. I just received an envelope marked portraits do not crease. The pictures are ruined due to being forced into my mail box. This is not the first time something has been forced into the mailbox.

The workers in the main lobby have been both polite and efficient. My mail carrier does a great job also.

USPS held my package for pickup without an explanation, I arrived to the location listed (Hwy6) just to be met by a front desk worker who was anything but helpful. She told me it could be at the downtown location according to her supervisor, key word “could” I called usps for tracking confirmation, operator claimed there was “system difficulties and tracking isn’t available” I asked the post worker if there was anyway to speak to the supervisor just to confirm the location of the package and/or if it was lost, so I wouldn’t waste my time driving over there like I did this morning, and she refused until another customer let her know how unfriendly and unhelpful she was being.

the people were nice, but i had scheduled a passport appointment for 9:30 and was told no one would be there until 12:45 and i should just come back around that time. im a pretty busy person, that’s why i scheduled a appointment in the first place. if you aren’t going to have anyone there until a certain time, call the people who scheduled a appointment and tell them not to come in. i get they’re short staffed. but they need a better system in place. i live 35 miles from waco one way.

I’m not the type to make reviews but I have to say, Gwen is a rock star holding down the passport process in Waco. We all know the passport process can be a real pain but Gwen helped me and several other people out the entire way and even made a copy of paperwork I needed. She was busy as could be but only had positive and funny things to say. Couldn’t have better things to say about her. Thank your local post office employees because they are some of the workers that are the backbone of this country. Thanks again Gwen!

Online customer service is a joke. I spent almost half an hour filling out a form regarding my issue. At the end of the very involved form when it's time to submit a message comes up saying unable to submit. Try again later. This was the 2nd time I have tried send a.message. USPS nationwide sucks.

This location genuinely deserves a ZERO star rating. Let me tell you about my unfortunate experience with this location.I mailed a package from Dallas to Waco, TX. You’d think what can possibly go wrong? It’s only two hours apart. WELL LET ME TELL YOU!!!First the package stayed in the waiting for next scan limbo. However, it was going to a P.O. Box at this location so unsure why it took so many weeks for this package to be located. Secondly this place is run by liars. Both Jennifer & Nathan reached out to me after I had to open a claim with pure B.S.I opened a claim August 16th & Nathan called me Sunday afternoon with some bogus story about how the package made it to a different post office in a different city after its scan in Fort Worth. I let him feed me this story & then politely informed him that the last scan before it got stuck in the limbo of the unknown next status was that it arrived at Waco, TX 76702 and then it scanned as out for delivery & nothing after that… HE then told me I was right and to disregard what he told me because it never went to Grandview, TX after Fort Worth and that I was right it arrived at this location and that they had to “locate it”… he calls me in an hour and tells me “oh a key was left in their P.O. Box and you know what it was picked up yesterday, 8/19”— okay & you didn’t “know” this before? I reached out to the recipient who confirmed this was all inaccurate and that there was NO KEY in her box. Fast Forward to 8/25 the Key was finally left in her box and she was able to obtain her package 10 days later.NOW TODAY 8/28/23… I get a call from the same post office location by the name of Jennifer who from what I gathered in her voicemail was calling to let me know that the “reason” my package hasn’t scanned in is because it got stuck in the machine and spilt everywhere and she was calling to walk me through the claim process.I am truly lost for words… the recipient received the package 8/25. Everything was confirmed to be OKAY & nothing was in the package that could have “spilt”.It’s alarming that this is the type of staff our Postal system hires. WHAT A MESS.Curious to see what’s the next fabricated excuse.P.S I tried to call Jennifer back a few minutes after I missed her call and she didn’t answer and her voicemail is full. THAT IS A GREAT SIGN. Haha…

Had an appt today for my 19 year olds passport. They started out rude with my child and told him he's only getting the photo. When his dad showed up shortly after, they immediately got rude with him not knowing he was there with our child. They again tried to say it was only a photo appt, however the women changed her tune quick after seeing the appt confirmation and realizing my husband could match her rudeness. Only then did it come out that their only two employees that know how to do passports never showed for work. So instead of calling to reschedule, they tried to get over on my kid. Horrible customer service. You need to check your employees.

Great customer service. Also can do your Passports here. Should make appointment online if you can. If not the wait isn't to bad. Depending on time of day ..

I've had some okay customer service and some just very short to the point. I'm fine with both. I want to get in and out. However this location often has extremely long lines when they are open. The self serve kiosk is often down or not working so you have to wait in a 45 minute line to get your business done. They absolutely need to expand and get more clerks. This location is a hub and so many people are in here daily. If the kiosk worked that would cut the line. It is always down by Saturday evening and they often lock the large drop box over the weekends. I am not sure why as we should be able to drop packages. I guess they want to sort less so they lock it and make us come back another day. They are also sharing space with the post office on 19th and it seems that location is never reopening. We were told November of 2022 yet its now march and no signs. I think some improvements would help this location. Like more clerks, expanding location and keeping the kiosk up and running. Also keep the large drop box unlocked.

I live on the route that is part of mail carrier V. Scott. We understand that our part is up for bid because her route has grown so much. I want to give a shout out to the mail carrier Campton who is assisting on our route. I forgot to put stamps on my mail yesterday and Campton got out of his truck, came to my door, and reminded me of stamps. He was very kind, professional and took the time to take care of his customer.
