Good place for prom dress shopping. I used them in the past for my oldest daughter in 2012 and now in 2024 for my youngest. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable as well

Be aware I got my dress here two years ago and spent a 1000 dollars here for my sophomore prom, in the past they have let you try as many dresses as you wanted just could only have so many in the dressing room at a time. (Normal things) However this year when I went be aware they have a new policy YOU CAN ONLY try on five dresses for the entire store and they will just talk about the financials, the entire time even after you have explained that the money is not the issue. They expect you to get a dress without even trying it on and won't allow you to try on any more than five for the entire store. There excuse is other places charge to try dresses on and as such that is not true at all for any dress store in Waco I have gone to the others looking for my prom dress stay away unless you are fine without having a good selection. They will say they will charge you to try on more than 5.

I was trying to help my Wife find a dress for our nieces quience and everywhere we went the staff didn’t want to assist. I called Vanessa’s up and Iveth told us to come by. Her and Maria were able to find the perfect dress and Laura did the alterations. I’m very impressed by their customer service skills and honestly their prices are very fair too. I will be returning for all my wife’s dress needs in the future.

The ladies and owner that work here are AMAZING! I’m a plus size girl and they were able to find something that is beautiful. I was assisted by Maria and Iveth with the help Laura was able to help alter my dress just in time for my nieces quince I will definitely be coming back for all my dress shopping needs ✨

Don't even know where to start. All of the employees are so loving and helpful. As soon as you come through the door it's positivity only. I had to rush a homecoming dress and they got it done! They also made me feel confident and comfortable in my dress when I've never heard such amazing things about me before. The ladies give honest opinions and help you every step of the way and if you don't want help that much they will take a step back. 100% recommend this place, I couldn't stop getting compliments when I wore that dress.

Went in to look for baptism outfits and wasn’t even greeted. I looked around because I didn’t know if that was all they had, so no help. Stayed for like 5-10 minutes and finally left.

Vanessa’s is the BEST boutique in Waco! From their selection to their staff, they are easily the most personable and friendly ladies in the business. As soon as you walk through the door, you are warmly welcomed and someone is at your side ready to help! After purchasing from them multiple times, my family is extremely pleased with their service, and would recommend anyone and everyone to their store! The wonderful ladies at Vanessa’s build relationships with each of their customers and ensure every girl who steps foot in their store is comfortable and encouraged. Along with their fantastic customer service, comes an incredible selection of dresses and gowns that would make any girl feel beautiful in! There are too many good things to say about this company! We love Vanessa’s!

Vanessa's boutique is the only one in town with Quinceañera dresses, therefore, she price gouges. I was quoted three different prices for a petty coat and even with a discount still paid $150 when others charge $60. I paid $1300 for a dress when in Fort Worth was $600. I went with her to support local business. She doesn't do exchanges or refunds so, your stuck with whatever you order whether it fits or not. She'll be nice to the clients as long as its beneficial for her, once its not She'll ignore you. She ordered a dress I told her Not too, then gave us a hassel when trying to order the right dress (paid separately).She also gave the court of honor hassel, the mom's were Not happy. She'll also ask about alterations like she like she includes them, you also had to pay separately. She told one of my Hispanic moms she needed to book alterations two weeks out for a delivery of a month but, one Caucasian lady she told her I'll fix it and had a simstress there in 30 minutes. Not shopping there again even when I have anothrer Quinceañera coming up. she does have the sweetest girl working for her that also changes story as her boss tells her. i overheard them on the phone. Then she'll talk to other clients about your business. She also told ne I had 3 months to pay the dress, then told me No because it was not convenient for and she didn't have room for the dress.
