“8-20-2023 Attended the Waco card show in the Brazos ballroom. No other events held this day. There was Limited street parking. However I learned There is a parking lot near the waterfall entrance. Unloading was quick and easy, under the covered circle drive up. Escalators and elevators available to get upstairs. Room temperature was good, restrooms on first level were all closed but the upstairs facilities were clean, stocked and available. Vending machine was nearby. Lots of Waco historical information and photos like the corridor from parking lot entrance. Right across the street you can see the Waco suspension bridge.”

“Went to the annual Big Texas Rally for Recovery here in speegleville/Crawford/Waco/china spring area and it was a genuine blast of a time! My middle daughter and I got caught up in playing all of the different carnival-style games that they had in there. There was face paintings and I was a little shy to partake in because, you know, I'm an adult and stuff..... But I am thinking about going to pick up my granddaughter and going back just so I can have that opportunity to get my face painted and say yes. I'm feeling like I'm in a kitty mood...... Maybe unicorn'ish. I don't know. But my spirit animal needs to shine through somehow today.. it felt so good to see other people doing well and living a good life in sobriety. It can happen and it can be done. It took me so long to just be able to get through the day without crying; and I really just wanted to give up......but these people that were here today, the Brads, and Terry"s, Miss Lisa, Raquel , Mary, Chad and my personal favorite, Carl from Medmark of the world that help us navigate our way through sobriety from beginning to end(as Long as you allow them to be right by your side....we still have free will).”

“The exact opposite of HIE North Waco Area (in West; it's terrible). This hotel is nice, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the walk-in shower was good, the included breakfast was great... what else can I say? I'd like a more comfortable toilet seat than the highly-angled one our bathroom had. There. Now it's a balanced review. Seriously, this is a good example of why Holiday Inn Express is our favorite chain.”

“Room ac happened to not work, so kinda hot ended up returning about half the room cost,bar area closes to early 10 o'clock after driving all day and not agreeing in till 9 down there till 930 they could have made alot more 5 of us were thirsty they could have made alot more off of us”

“It is a good and spacious event venue. It was clean and very well kept. The outside has a number of spots good for picture taking. The ballroom was we-decorated. Tables are too close to each other and feel crowded. Overall, a good place for party or event. There was enough parking for everyone. Parking lot has gravel and not paved.”
