About Waco Convention & Visitors Bureau/Waco Welcome Center
The Waco Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) was established in 1983 and is the official destination marketing organization for the city of Waco, Texas. The CVB is responsible for marketing Waco and its partner cities in the county as a destination, and also manages the Waco Convention Center and the Waco Welcome Center. The Waco Welcome Center offers a great selection of books and children's activities featuring the local area and people. The front staff is described as sweet, nice, and helpful, providing good information and maps about the town. The center is dog-friendly and has a gift shop with a friendly and knowledgeable staff member. While the center is small, it is a nice place to visit to learn about Waco and its attractions.

Easy to get to and there’s lots to do nearby. Friendly staff ready to help you plan a fun day in Waco.

Helpful and friendly staff. Great selection of gifts as well. Conveniently located next to the Texas Rangers Museum
