We have email from doctor saying no refill request was sent. Gotta do better this is why no one uses Walgreens pharmacy anymore. Ask for refill request 2x now. Will be switching pharmacy’s

If Walgreens' Mission Statement is to champion the health and well-being of every community in America, the question is, do its staff do this effectively and efficiently? I have had several experiences of losing paid items bought from this store on reaching home. Today, Wednesday, 01/31/2024, at about 17:15 hrs., it happened again: I lost my Flonase nose spray. I had with me in the story two kiddos, five and two, who were itching to go home, and I got distracted as I checked out. This lady checked, bought items out, bagged them, and handed the bag to me. Halfway home, I badly needed to use the nose spray; behold, the Flonase nose spray was not in the bag. I looked at my receipt, which showed that the item was paid for and checked out but not in the bag. I pulled over and searched my car, and it was not in the vehicle. Then I returned to the store, hoping that the lady, if she found the Flonase spray, would remember me, hoping I would return for it. When I returned and asked about the item, she said she didn't know. I asked her if they had a camera at the checkout station, and she told me to go and ask her manager; then, I pulled out my receipt and showed her that the FLONASE nose spray was checked out but wasn’t in my bag. Then, she fumbled under the desk, brought out the Flonase nose spray, and dropped it on the desk for me. This incident might seem insignificant, but it has many implications and raises questions about staff efficiency, effectiveness, and integrity toward Walgreens' motto.

Talk about lazy. I had one of those little carry baskets and I put six items in there. When I got to the counter. The lady who was very, very young. Tell me I needed to take the stuff out of the basket. I asked her if she was kidding? So she just stood there. And would not do her job until I took my items out of that basket. Walgreens, you can do better than that, hire capable people. People that are not lazy I will never visit this one again I promise you. This one was at the corner of Bosque and New Road in Waco, TX. .

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to they never have your prescription ready. They tell you to come back the next day and they still don’t have it ready. Plus lady is so rude.

Prescriptions were dropped off around 6. Went back to pick up at 8 and wasn't ready, which I was understanding since I know how busy it had been. I waited inside and was finally approached at 8:45. They close at 9 pm and were rushing. They didn't tell me one would not be ready until Wednesday (2 days later) and my toddler needs it to breathe! The Pharmacy Ops Manager was dismissive and just said to call the other Walgreens in town. I called while in front of them and asked for the prescriptions back. I will be taking my business elsewhere!

The store opens most days at 6-am. At that time, there are few customer in the store but it is necessary to round up an employee and prompt the employee to the cash register. Later in the day the store is crowded with customers with long lines in front of the cash register which may or may NOT be manned. The quality of service has been the same for many years. I went to the store in search of magnified Reading Glasses as advertised on their web page. Scattered throughout the store are severl displays of Boutique Sun Glasses priced in the $20- to $40+ range and made somewhere in " Asia." The Walgreens store brand reading glasses are difficult to find- hidden away in the back of the store, they are available in the range of diopters in one- to three packs C $20 -small and flimsy-temporary in appearance. In fact, the stems tend to fall off after moderate use. They are made in the People's Republic of China.

Well I thought that the Walgreens in woodway was the problem so I switched to this location. Sorry to say that the pharmacy part of this store is just as bad. I am switching to a local pharmacy that treats me like a person. Goodbye Walgreens.
