Based on the reviews, Better Buddy #12 is a clean gas station and store with friendly staff. It is the last and cleanest stop on the way to Matagorda Bay. They serve delicious hamburgers and fries that make a big meal. There is a steam table and a hot griddle for the menu, with several selections already prepared and wrapped to go, like tacos, burgers, chicken strips, and fresh baked cookies. However, gas prices are well above regional averages and are the most expensive in Wadsworth. They also charge a dollar for a cup of ice.

This is the last and cleanest gas station on the way to matagorda Bay. Friendly staff and very clean establishment. Lower star rating given because they charge a dollar for a cup of ice where everywhere else charges 25 to $0.50 for a cup that costs them at most $0.10

I've never been here,but I came down from Cleveland TX to see family and I was surprised with a hamburger and fries that was delicious. It was such a big meal that I ate half for lunch and half for dinner. 😊❤️😊
