I gotta laugh at these 1 & 2 star reviews. Intelligence plays a large part in knowing what is good or bad. Do your research people. Look to see just how many 5 star (via bankrate) there are in Texas. They have always been harder to get a loan from but that’s also what makes them a safe bank. They may be a little slow on catching up with technology being used now but that goes back to the safety involved. I live just down the road from the original location. My account has been there well over 2 yrs. I had 1 loan that was hard to get but got a good rate. The new people at this location are little stiff for the small town. I’ve been to and called 3 of the other locations and have never had a rude employee - and I’m a loud in your face woman! So this was my 2 ¢.

This bank used to be efficient, now they are rude, deceitful and untrustworthy. Alejandra is rude, she does not speak to you like you have dignity. She over talks you and she wants to refer you back to your signed documents. I called to try to get clarity on an NSF on 3/26 that I was charged for a payment that posted on 3/23. That made no sense. I have been banking here for almost a year and that has never happen. This is mt first NSF. She stated that in the past they tried to work with their clients and waived NSF fees if the accounts were made positive in a timely manner or if the transaction was 30% or less of their available balance. She stated that now they have been enforcing the policy. It is unfair to build a rapport with a customer based on friendliness and convenience and then abruptly take away those relationship benefits without warning especially when that is what kept the relationship in the first place. Alejandra then began to compare Wallis bank to Chase by stating that Chase charges for everything and every time. That is irrelevant to me as I do not bank with Chase. If you policy is one thing, stick to it, don't pick and choose the dates you decide to adhere to policy. Do not trust these ingrates with your hard earned money.

Why can I not get into my online banking info. I have used my computer to access my accounts for more than 10 years. Why not now?
