Stopped in tonight looking for holiday clearance and Christmas decor ideas to incorporate with the look I'm creating this year. I walked several isles seeing boxes, shopping carts, and products in the traffic path. The "Clearance" area was a disaster with everything all mixed up, most unmarked so you had no idea the prices or if the item was truly clearance priced.After finding a few items to purchase we headed to a checkout, two self checkouts only took cards, the manned registers employee was doing the job of three people with assisting a customer, responding to our machine's request for verification on a rated R movie we were purchasing. As well as the customer behind us who needed his assistance for the cold medicine she was trying to purchase. A major reason we do not shop Dollar General now that this check out system is in place.

If I could, I would give the store zero Stars... The daytime cashier's always got ear buds in her ears and she's always talking on the phone to someone when she's checking you out.. makes you feel like you were bothering her... I thought you were not allowed to be running your mouth on the phone while you're checking customers out when you work in retail but I may be wrong... They don't keep the store stocked.. the manager really doesn't care about the issues that are going on.. her employees talk on the phone right in front of her and she doesn't do anything about it. I will drive to greenwood to go to that Dollar general before I go into this one ever again

Attention Dollar General Corporate office! Why don't you staff the stores accordingly ? Every time I go in there ,there is always one person putting up stock and cashing people out. Employees are in a bad mood due to toxic working conditions created by corporate and their greed to squeeze the most out of every employee. You don't run a business with one person. In order to make money YOU have to invest and spend money because if it takes too long to pay for items we all will go to the next store that is adequately staffed so that we can get in and get out quickly. Time is essential.

The girls who work in the store are so sweet and helpful. The store itself is always a disaster. You can't get a buggy down the aisles or one end is blocked with carts and boxes. If things were put on the shelves in a timely manner and not just left everywhere this would be a great store for our tiny community.
