“They're definitely my favorite place for getting new tires. They're open on Saturdays and evenings which certainly helps. If you go on a Saturday, get there early or you'll be waiting a while.
While other tire shops would try to BS me and tell me I need to buy new tires when all I need is a tire patch, Hamm's would give me what I ask for and patch my tire and take care of the problem! I had this happen one Friday afternoon and Hamm's patched my tire when it was ten minutes before closing. I'd go back and tip the guy, but didn't think to at the time.
I don't think their waiting area has been updated since the 80's and definitely looks vintage. Hardly a deal breaker.
I'd buy Hamm's shirts if they sold any.
