“I’ve been a customer since day one, moved away for three years, and just recently came back to town for work. Walked in and was immediately greeted like I never left.
If you’re not buying your dry-aged steaks, and every other cut from these guys in DFW, you need to get your life together. When you start shipping, you’ll be my only supplier.
Appreciate everything you do for the community and the extra effort you put into your craft.”

“*Edited to correct the name of the employee from Jason to James... I'm so sorry about that, James!

We purchased a lot of steaks, smash burgers, and ground beef. We have so far cooked some t-bones, rib eyes, filets, smash burgers, and tacos. With each meal, the beef was very juicy and delicious! James* was very knowledgeable and understanding; not only was he able to provide me various options based on our family's needs, but he was able to answer every question I had and clearly explain when I needed further details. He was also very helpful in loading all the meat into the freezer for me. I definitely appreciated his patience with me and will absolutely purchase from him and Six Brothers again. I have told many friends about this purchase and our family's pleasure with the experience.”

“I’ve been going to El Tapatio Meat Market in Bedford for about a year now, and whenever I need good, flavorful meat, this is where I end up.

The carnitas are always on point. They’re tender, juicy, and have that rich flavor you want without being greasy. The barbacoa is just as solid, soft and easy to pull apart, perfect for tacos or plates at home. But the pastor is probably my favorite. It has some serious flavor. Smoky, well seasoned, and bold without being overpowering. It’s the kind of meat that doesn’t need much help. Throw it on a tortilla with some onions and cilantro and you’re set.

One thing about this place, it stays busy. Every time I walk in, there’s a line at the meat counter. That usually says everything you need to know. The guys working back there move fast and keep things flowing. Even when it’s packed, they don’t waste time. Sometimes it can be a little hard to understand them, especially when the store is loud and full, but they’re efficient and you’re not standing around forever waiting.

The only real downside is the space. The aisles are narrow, and when it’s crowded, it feels tight. You’ll probably have to squeeze past a couple people or wait for someone to move. It’s not the most comfortable shopping experience when it’s packed, but honestly, that just comes with the territory.

At the end of the day, I keep coming back because the quality is there. The meat is fresh, the flavors are strong, and they get you taken care of quickly. It may be busy and a little cramped, but it’s worth it.

Solid four stars.”

“Theresa is the best! She is very patient and provides great customer service. I have 5-7 animals a year processed here. Meatballs and Tamales are a must try. Also a fan of the German rings. Not the cheapest but the quality is great and they know what they are doing. My kids love checking out all the mounts.”

“Before you Caucasian people that need a translator of the owner happens to be there or the full-time manager they’re great to translate. Otherwise, you better know what you’re getting at the meat market. They got a pretty good selection for a little Mexican store.”
