Patty and I both bank here and do not have the same problems that the other people have had in the past. I think it probably has to do with expectations and maturity. I worked in the financial services industry for 35 years in New York City, Los Angeles, Houston and Dallas. What these other people want is unrealistic for a branch bank of a major bank headquartered in New York. 3 out of 4 customers made snide remarks about how they expected these tellers and manager to act. THE FACT IS: Chase and JP Morgan isn't making any money from your small piddling accounts and in order to do so you'd have to pay exorbitant fees amounting to hundred of dollars. ANOTHER FACT IS: After 30 years of branch expansion and technology advancements major banks will be closing branches. It's already happening in Houston where two branches a half mile apart have consolidated into the one located on the freeway. In addition there are strict rules and regulations that are drawn up by states and the bank themselves that have to do with public safety, security and individual banking policy. Patty and I are 70 , we're polite, come in once a month and do our business in 5 minutes or less. In return the tellers are courteous and friendly and know us and our needs. Ben

I have a friend who is a personal banker at chase. He is the only reason i bank at this bank. However he does not work at this branch. Ive had many issues with the tellers not counting my money in front of me. They always want to take my money to the back and count it. Which i absolutely do not trust. The teller said she would go to the back to count my money to which i responded i would rather you count my money in front of me. She then picked up my money and walked to the back. Ignoring me. Her name is Cynthia. I spoke to my personal banker friend and he said that if the customer requests the money to be counted in front of them then they have to oblige. Updated GET A F****** MONEY COUNTER AT THE ACTUAL COUNTER. I DONT WANT SOMEONE COUNTING MY MONEY IN THE BACK!

Went in today to make a withdrawal from my savings. My license was expired but i had renewed it online. I had my license with the letter from texas drivers license office stating that when presented together they were valid proof for 45 days and a major credit card as well. Teller asked branch manager for verification that he could go ahead and accept it. Branch manager said no. As i don't have time to come back and i needed my money, i asked for her boss. She had to call another office for verification and approval. To make a long story short, they told her it was ok to go ahead and give me my money. Wish she was better trained. If i had not insisted on my money, she would have made me waste my time in having to come back with my husband who does have his drivers license current. Being a branch manager seems to have gone to her head and must give her a power rush to make her own rules.

Came to get a debit card reprinted. Signed in at 10:45AM...its now 11:10 and I'm still sitting here. There is one person working the lobby and I've seen about 3 tellers behind the counter. Another "banker" walked in and went straight to his computer without acknowledging me. 6 minutes later he walks out and asks for a minute because he is logging in...does it really take that long to log into a computer?

When I first moved to the DFW area, I decided to move my bank from a podunk bank out in west Texas to a nationally known/recognizable bank. I was sorely disappointed with my personal transactions at Chase bank. The staff has changed (for the most part) since 2007 and that makes my day-to-day visits for work much more enjoyable. They definitely treat their business accounts with more respect and care than they do their personal accounts. Who could blame them? My company brings in millions of dollars for them while my personal account was bringing in chump-change.
