Nicki’s Qwik Stop is a convenience store experience like no other. Walking in feels like stepping into a scene from a quirky indie film: the fluorescent lights hum softly, the aisles are impeccably stocked yet eerily devoid of other customers, and the faint aroma of homemade Eastern European cuisine wafts from behind the counter. Yes, you read that right—cooking behind the counter.
The staff, who seem to hail from an Eastern European country (though which one is anyone’s guess), are incredibly sweet. However, their cultural mannerisms sometimes make their kindness feel… slightly intimidating. A warm “thank you” may sound like a solemn diplomatic statement, but it’s all part of their charm.
Adding to the mystery, there’s an RV parked behind the store that appears to double as living quarters for the owners or staff. Between that and the meals being prepared mid-shift, it’s clear this isn’t just a job—it’s a lifestyle. Forget standard gas station snacks; you might leave here with a pack of gum and an existential question about the meaning of life.
All in all, Nicki’s Qwik Stop is a hidden gem: part convenience store, part cultural exchange, and part enigma. Just don’t be surprised if you walk out with a full tank of gas, a story to tell, and a craving for pierogi.

The staff at this dump are rude to people who are there to shop. New to the area and appalled by the attitude as well as the over abundance of political signs posted around the business. Will not be back.

Do not waste your time coming into this dump. They say appearance can be deceiving, but not in this case. It is as nasty inside as it appears to be outside. Staff is rude and could care less about what you may need.

Nicki's is our favorite one-stop-shop. Right around the corner from our house and a life saver for those "Oops! I forget to get..." items! The drive-thru is such a blessing for us! Whether we have our baby twins or in our jammies, in need of milk for cereal or syrup for waffles! It's family owned and we have appreciated seeing the same faces and being able to chat during our visits. I've never experienced a $5.00 minimum, as expressed in the other review. Many days, I have stopped in for a soda or an ice cream and 99% of the time, I use my debit card with no problem. As far as variety and stock, I am typically able to find what I need and if they don't have it, they're happy to accommodate an order to have it next time. It's not QT, but there's always a spot to park and you're definitely less likely to get run over walking in!

I've been going there for about 5 years and the owner lady is very nice. However, the lady that works until 2 pm is the rudest individual on the planet. If you are going to go there, do it after 2 pm.
