Working a project down to the wire and called in to find if they had my needed hardware in stock. Two packs left and plenty of time to get there before close. I arrived to find my request set aside by the register!

Me and my family went to this place after lunch today. I was tryin to get some leather for laser engraving test.
There are so many different types of leather. It’s overwhelming to us because we know nothing about leather but the people at the store are really helpful. The owner, employees and customers all tries to assist us. So friendly. We surely gained some knowledge today.

I recently went there to buy a hide rug. When I was checking out I asked the clerk if they offered a veteran discount. He said "we sure do" and asked for my phone number. I normally don't like giving out my information but decided to give in a give for the discount. I didn't have a account and said I needed to give my name, address, and phone number to create an account. So still wanting the discount, I gave in and gave it to him. Everything said and done he said "You are all signed up, however you will get a discount next time, because it takes corporate several days to approve the discount" and I literally said "really..." He didn't reply back and just starred at me. Everywhere I go the veterans discount is applied immediately. I feel like I was deceived, considering he said he would give me a discount then didn't give me one in the end.... Maybe, so he could get all my information? I don't know but non the less it was a bad experience and I'll probably end up going else where next time.

Tandy's free learing sessions are totally amazing. Craig introduced us to basics of leather carving. He is a superb guy with tons of skills set, massive experience, very knowledgeable and passionate about carving. Sincerely urge young and old to give it a try and get started on a great creative rewarding hobby. Craig, thank you for eagerly sharing your experiences and passion with us.

We stopped by for some help. Sherry was able to show us everything we needed to repair a family heirloom. We were able to purchase what we need to rework the laces on a purse. We are so appreciative that Sherry took the time to share her knowledge with us.

Came in with an oddball question about repairing an ancient shoulder bag and Craig and Wes were extremely helpful with ideas about its repair. Beyond helpful, the guys were incredibly kind (and funny) with an old guy who had NO idea what he was doing. Plus, it's always nice just to step inside and breathe deeply. It smells so good in there!
