My kids absolutely love this school! My kids give Ms. Caryn a big hug when she greet us each day. You can tell the director takes pride in her work to make the place look and feel welcoming! I would recommend this school to anyone who ask!!

Such a warm and welcoming staff! They are always attentive and so loving towards our little ones. We are truly grateful to have a preschool that is so involved and communicative with us.

This establishment decided that my son was too much to handle and expelled him. Before that happened I would notice him coming home with fresh bruises and cuts all over him. I feel like my son was being bullied or hurt by other children and nothing was being done about it because of his alleged “behavioral issues”. Fast forward to 4 weeks later and he’s a role model of good behavior as his new school. Blanca needs to be fired, Caryn needs to be fired, and Talisha needs to be fired. Every child deserves to feel safe and protected and my son did not ever feel this way at this daycare.

My daughter started kindercare at 3 months, she loves her teachers. I also like that she is familiar with the other teachers, staff, and Director. Thankful for this wonderful daycare experience!

I don’t usually do reviews, but because my kid went here i just want to fairly warn parents. Please don’t. This was by far the WORSE childcare experience I’ve ever seen in my life. They have directors in and out, teachers quitting, parents upset because of the way this place is operated. There was situations where i would get calls in the middle of work, sending my son home for something that could’ve been prevented had the children been supervised. It’s unsanitary, i complained about the classrooms smells multiple times, the director was serving kids food bare feet, no gloves. Cps is always at that school. & because my poor child is black he was at fault for every situation, there’s been times where I’ve popped up early to pick up my son and his face is full of dry tears. Im just very devastated at the poor care these people give these children and the teachers don’t make much so ofc they do the bare minimum. Shoutout to Ms. Talesha & Makayla for being honest with me and keeping an eye out on my sweet boy. He is on to a better school. I wouldn’t get on here and lie. Do not take your babies.

The staff at the Watauga KinderCare are wonderful. We’ve taken our kids here for half a year now and they are always flexible, gracious, and understanding. The kids do lots of fun and engaging activities and I’m so happy to hear about what they’re learning each day.

It wasn't for us. My 2 year old was so filthy end of the day and nose running from getting sick there as soon as he started. Last time he was in a class alone and someone barley at the door talking to the other worker outside. My kid wasn't getting the attention he needed. Daycares are scary. If it's not their own your kid survive by the will of GOD.

My child attended this daycare about a year or a little less , his first teacher was great he loved her he was 1 at this time mrs. Hydia was there for about 6 years I believe and then left I wasn't able to ask why but that was sad . Although he did change from her class and later went to a two year old classroom. He started not to like going which was off about him.when I'd pick him up from daycare I noticed his head would be covered with a blanket, I asked if they did that because at home this was never an issue , they said he did it which I still couldn't believe . Then one day I was trying to show my son his shirt glowed in the dark under the blanket in which he replied "no mommy I don't wanna go under the blanket" and I asked him why? He said "I'm scared of blanket mommy" I then asked why, why was he scared of the blanket? Who covers him? And he said "Blanca covers me with blanket and says shh" !! The anger I felt !!!! This is horrible , I do not care if my child isn't sleeping they can suffocate under the blanket !!! And it was many times I went and he had the blanket on him!!! Horrible !! She also apparently doesn't like her job , because she asked my mom if she could get her hired else where . Why would I want someone whom doesn't enjoy watching kids to watch my son!!! We definitely left this daycare . The only reason we stayed longer than wanted was because we had to although he was definitely picked up before nap for this reason . I am happy he is no longer here. Ms Kayla on the other hand his other teacher we did appreciate and I am thankful for her because she is the reason he felt a little okay.
