Watauga Montessori is a local private Montessori school for children ages 3 to third grade. It is a hybrid of Montessori Methodology and research proven contemporary public education strategies. At WM, our mission is to provide an educational, exploratory environment based on Montessori Methodology, nurturing the child’s natural curiosity to discover their true potential and purpose in the world. We don’t believe in a “one-size fits all” educational model. All children learn differently. Our vision is for each child to discover their true potential intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically as global citizens, establishing a strong sense of purpose, independence, and confidence.
Our son was not doing well in an ordinary daycare/preschool. He needed a school that would foster his love of learning, where he is engaged and challenged. Finally we found DMM and He/We love it. He looks forward to attending daily and we feel comfortable about leaving him in DMM care while we work.
