This store is poorly run. The self-checkout registers are always out of service, there is trash all over the property. The employees are miserable and barely say a word. On my recent trip, I just put my items back on the shelf because the only register that took debit cards was tied up by some reprobate ex-con walked away to look for more money. Meanwhile the "manager" just stood there at the register and wouldn't clear it for everyone else to use. The competency crisis continues in this country. Awful.

I've come here so many times and they close at 10. I'm here at 9:13 and the cashier comes to the door and said they are closed. On a Friday.

Just went into the store and the cashier was on the phone the entire time. There were 2 customers in line and she didn't greet any of us. Sounded like she was on a business call, but none the less she was very distracted by whom she was talking to. Never said a word to me. Customer service skills are in dire need. I mean it was a bad experience, but it was no experience. She didn't look to happy for whatever reason, maybe having a bad day, but at least acknowledge your customer. That was my first time at that location. I will not go back. The one in Red Oak is so much better.

Cashiers at this location are absolutely horrible they are lazy and never anywhere to be found. Just because they now have self check out doesn’t mean someone shouldn’t be close by registers at all times especially since sometimes you have customers that mess up the self check out registers then what are you to do oh I know stand and wait endlessly in hopes a cashier may show up and clear off the self check out screen for you to ring yourself up as they disappear again. I have walked out multiple times cause of the long wait for someone to come to the front when it’s busy or when a customer in front of me has messed up the self check out machines and I’ve seen customers mess the machine up and not wait for help instead they just walk out with the product they have bagged and yet to pay for cause why? A cashier is not at the front to help when the self checkout suddenly messes up mid purchase I can only imagine how much theft is going on at this location and it’s truly sad because the store manager herself isn’t bad and is always near the front when she is there and even if she isn’t at the front she is very alert to her customers and knows when to be at the register but her employees are lazy especially the young guy there that always has a hat on,I don’t know his name but he is completely useless and will just stand there watching you wait in the self checkout line without bothering to offer to check you out on the register.

We had the pleasure of visiting Dollar General with friends and family and had a pleasant experience. As we pulled in the parking lot, we noticed two handicapped parking spaces. As we walked in the door, we immediately noticed carts with boxes in a lot of places. We did not notice any slip or trip hazards. We were able to find the items we were looking for and the prices were reasonable compared to other stores."Our Purpose Is Your Blessing"

I usually like to go into this store but the cashier who helped me today was so rude. My daughters wanted to use their gift cards they got and the lady kept telling me to swipe the card(there is no magnetic strip on the back just a barcode). It doesnt work so I asked her if there was a button on her computer that says gift card to push. She wouldn't even look she just says "I cant do it" She proceeds to argue with me and slams her hand on the counter as she is yelling at me. Another sweet associate comes over and figures it out in 2 seconds. Unfortunately I didn't get her name because I was so angry. Shoppers beware!

I got got what I needed and went to the line and waited 30 minutes In line. The women who was working there had no help and was slow. Hire more people because I sat in the store for a good 45 minutes for nothing.

Manager is so rude to the neighborhood kids. They went in for snacks had a debit card. I was in the store and I heard her tell the kids ! In a rude manner WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO USE A DEBIT CARD. Yelling at the poor boy. She’s new up there and very rude to children. If kids are buying stuff not STEALING YOU should help them.

Avoid at all cost. Dirty inside and out. Not ADA friendly to put it kindly. Supervisor and management need development. Just save yourself a bad day and avoid this location.

I stood in line for far too long because your cashier who was on duty at 8:00 Pm August 3rd was unable to do basic math that the terminal should do for him. If he doesn't know how to use the thing how bout you don't put him there. It isn't hard to split a payment. Don't put senile old men on your registers its stupid.
