bought 70k tires, 40k in, the tires are wearing bad, when we went in the Man behind the counter did not want to prorate the tires for remaining life, it showed that we had rotated the tires 5 times, he said that was not enough, they wanted it done every 5k miles, I asked him to show me where it says that on the tire invoice, he said it was on their website, they ended up discounting the new tires slightly, but I will never again go to the Waxahachie Firestone

Had an appointment at 2 for just 2 tires and checking the alignment. Car didn't even get started until almost 3, after 2 and half hours. I had to ask about the status, zero communication on Fridays or issues!! I will not ever bring my car back here ever again. Looking like it is going to take this place 3 hours to change 2 tires and complete an alignment!!

Firestone Waxahachie literally saved me. I experienced a car problem when I was very far from home. I stopped by their shop and when they heard the situation and saw my five kids in the car, they fixed the problem immediately instead of making me wait for the next available appointment. God bless their heart. Special thanks to Rodolfo Martinez at the front desk who was able to organize all this.

I ordered tires from TireRack and specifically chose Firestone because they are a TIRE SPECIALTY shop. Or so I thought. I made an 11am appointment for mounting 4 new tires and checking the alignment. Over 5 hours later I inquired if there was a problem and I was told “my wheels are reverse mount wheels and they are having a hard time mounting them”. Completely unacceptable for a TIRE STORE!!!! I also now see they have a lot of 1 star reviews so bad on me for not checking the reviews before I made the appointment. UPDATE: Upon picking up the vehicle 7 hours after my appointment I was informed they broke one of my tire pressure monitors(which they replaced but I have no idea if they used a Dodge OEM part) and there is a gouge on the lip of one of my custom wheels.

I go there to get my headlight replaced and they have to take the whole bumper off on my car so I went ahead and told him to go ahead and check both headlights and the blinkers because it wants the front end is off you already have to pay a labor for that. I came back to pick the car up and the assistant manager tells me that he had a problem with one with the headlight that was out that it needed some kind of pigtails and I would need to go to the Chevy house to get that and I was a little upset because they went ahead and replaced the other light light and charged me $164 and I didn’t need the other one replaced only if if it needed it so I paid $164 And he was very rude. He started telling me to go to a pick and pool, which single, and I’m not able to do this kind of stuff I just need some help, and I was upset because of them instead of knowing that that light was broken just to put the thing back on and not charge me for the other lights but he charged me that and then when I go out to look at my car, my bumper is not on so he continues to tell me that it was like that and that somebody else must’ve done it. He said the guy that changed it last time must have glued it. It wasn’t like that when I brought it in .

I scheduled an appointment at 2pm. According to the person at this store, alignments take 30 minutes to an hour to do. I call at 4pm to get an update on my car, they hadn’t even started working on it, they said they would in about 30 minutes. I understand things get backed up throughout the day, but to know you’re two and a half hours behind the agreed upon time, and to not call me and let me know just shows blatant disregard for my time. The only reason I get it a two is because the alignment itself was done well. If I show up late to the agreed upon time, my appointment can get cancelled and I can get charged, what do I get when Firestone is two and a half hours late to our agreed upon time? Nothing. What’s the point of making and accepting appointments if you’re going to make zero effort to stick to them. I had to cancel my plan that night because what should’ve been a two hour job tops, turned into a 4 and a half hour job. Shame on this Firestone location. Will not be coming back

This place is an absolute joke. Waited 2.5 hours for an appointment and was told we can’t work on vehicle. How about you assess the car before having a customer wait. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I definitely recommend this Firestone! I came from Austin to Dallas to pickup my vehicle and on the way back it broke down. I had my car towed here and when I arrived they were really busy. That didn't stop them though. They diagnosed my vehicle, got the part and had my car back that day! Shout out to Johnathan for making my day. And the Firestone team for their great work!

Firestone tires are good tires but this location is not worthy of selling them. We stopped our car off at 3pm and was told it would be a couple of hours so we left and came back and left and came and left and came... finally at almost 7pm they finally got it completed. If you look at the parking lot you will see this location is losing business and customers and I can see why. The tires are good but the service is slow to the point of being unbearable.

They had a replacement tire I needed and it was only available in Waxahachie or Houston. I “called via telephone” on Wednesday 10/18 and scheduled an appointment for the next day, in the afternoon, at the convenience of Firestone’s schedule (not mine). I was told I “needed” an appointment and could not simply drop-by and wait. No problem. I drove 70 miles to this location on 10/19 at my confirmed reservation time and “my reservation hadn’t been saved by their employee”. The books were stacked, customer behind me had the same appt. time and was getting irritated over the situation. They did fit me in, however, I had to take control of the situation to make this happen. They had suggested leaving the car or coming back another day before I demanded service as a 15+ year customer with an advance appointment. I did get my new tire but they damaged/marked up my OEM wheel with some metal tool. I’ve spent over an hour trying to recondition the damage. I even told them the vehicle had just received a $1000 professional detail and to “please” be careful with the “ONE” thing they have to touch on my car. $200+ later I’ve got my tire but I’ll never do the Firestone thing again. I should have bought the tire and taken it to Discount Tire for mounting/balancing. The reviews are true, don’t trust their appointments, especially if you are driving any distance like I did (140 miles round trip).

I don’t usually leave reviews I don’t like being lied to or stole from it’s hard for me to trust a bunch of tire/mechanic shops and this is why. Also I feel like this is a huge safety concern for Firestone. I Spent $1700+ on tires and life time alignment on my truck didn’t get the tires balanced correctly from the start took it back multiple times to have them fixed. It being really hard for me to get away from work or be without a truck for work multiple times and loose time and money when I already spent so much on tires. Ended up taking them to the ford dealership and they got them running decent. But already pretty much ruined the tires. Could not afford to buy a new set of tires so drove them till they were almost bald. Went back to Firestone ordered new tires to have put on. But I was going to get an alignment done the day before since I bought the lifetime alignment on this truck so I left my truck up there all day. I knew as soon as they put it on the lift they would call me about my upper control arms being shot. The drive side is broken and the passenger side is shot barely on it’s last leg. But they called and said they did There is absolutely no way they did an alignment on my truck. Any mechanic shop in town would have called about replacing those control arms. I guess they just want to take the extra money you pay for the lifetime alignment but not honor it. This is why I did not buy the tires I ordered. Iv go used Firestone for a long time. This cost me a lot of time and money. I will not be using Firestone in Waxahachie, Tx anymore
