If you are looking for a Gym that steals your money with double billing without explanation.That they always tell you "that's strange" "the manager will contact you" and he never doesThis is your Gym, look no further!It's disgusting to see how so many people are robbed and don't realize it until they check their bills.You talk to the staff to demand an explanation, even though you consulted everything in detail at the beginning of the contract and each time they gave you more incongruous answers such as "it's not that they won't charge you next month."And guess, exactly if they charge you.?His lack of customer service will mean that when they open a similar Gym everyone will go to him and I ask that the owner leave me his email so I can talk to him, I already know that it is a lost case so this comment is a warning for everyone and Save yourself the trouble and with the minimum hope that they will begin to be honest with their billings.If you are looking for a gym that steals your money with double billing without explanation.That they always tell you "that's strange" "the manager will contact you" and he never does This is your Gym, look no further!It's disgusting to see how so many people are robbed and don't realize it until they check their bills.You talk to the staff to demand an explanation, even though you consulted everything in detail and each time they gave you more incongruous answers such as "it's not that they won't charge you next month." If there was a star below 1- I’d choose that. This gym is a scam. You’d be better off getting your exercise running far away from this gym. I went in to cancel my membership a year and a half ago- filled out the paperwork, and verbally was told it was complete. I have been charged every month since. If you call, they tell you the manager will call you back and never does. They make it a point to tell you if they can’t find the paperwork then you won’t receive a refund. I’m sure as soon as you fill out the paperwork, they probably just shred it. This gym is a scam, stay far far away from it unless you enjoy getting screwed over and taken advantage of!

Very unclear promotion and upfront fees exceeding any gym I’ve been to. It’s very unfortunate that customer service was also very rude and not informative when explaining this information. They also do lot have several of the amenities that other locations offer and still charge too much. Waxahachie Gold’s Gym is a rip off.Update: and then they called me following this review but actually my card was charged again and I was told they would follow up the next day which also didn’t happen. I believe this place is a scam at this point. A nightmare and a scam.

i’ve been a member at this gym for awhile now. and two kids locked my stuff in a locker with 2 other dudes stuff. the 2 dudes thought i tried stealing their stuff when i just wanted my stuff. and tonight i got trespassed for quite literally doing absolutely nothing. very poor management team, very poor communication. and the team member was extremely rude and aggressive. other than that the gym has good equipment.

I was charged 5 times out of the blue. I cancelled my membership back in September to suddenly be charged 5 times over December and January. When I noticed the charges I attempted to contact the gym and was told it was “strange” and that they would leave a note for the manager to take a look and call me back. After two attempted calls, I went in person to get it resolved as I was still getting charged daily. The lady at the front was nice and trying to be helpful, but ultimately had to… you guessed it… leave a note for the manager to contact me the following Monday. While at the gym, I filled out another cancellation form and had my card deleted. Monday came and went without a call. I called again on Wednesday asking for a manager and for the fourth time explained my situation to be told they would have to look into it and get back to me. As a manager who works in customer service, this is some of the worst I’ve ever seen. No apology or even an explanation for why I was charged 5 times after 3 months of cancellation. Terrible.

Don’t go here if you have claustrophobia. This whole gym is overcrowded. Pretty much always busy and a bunch of old washed up bodybuilders who think they own the gym.

precious was great and so kind , i came in for a 1 day pass and she helped me out. She was very nice and informative. And i will definitely be coming back to become a member!

Nice facility but WATCH OUT!Extremely disappointed with Gold's Gym in Waxahachie. My company has been billed for over six months for an employee who left for the Army, despite me calling to inform them that the charges were unauthorized. Customer service has been unresponsive to resolving this issue. It's unacceptable and unprofessional to continue charging us for a service that is clearly not being used. I hope this review serves as a warning to others, and I expect an immediate refund or credit for the charges.

Really love this gym but the billing is so unfair. I get that renewal is on the 25th, but when the payment doesn't go through at midnight, why is it necessary to charge me a $40 late fee when I try to pay it that same day. And to top it off I can't make a payment over the phone because they "can't" even though they have my info on file!

Front desk lady was a bit frustratedProbably because it was Sunday butThere was a problem with my membership card she couldn't explain it she said the my membership was cancelled because it was sold to Planet fitness that made zero sence to me.I emailed Golds Gym the next day on Monday no response and believe it or I also called and no one pick.up the phone and it just unbelievable maybe their whole system was down.I'm updating my review i have originaally had given them.1 star, after talking to DarionHe has help me understand the issue and was very professional and I be updating my membership with themThank for your Help Darion.

The employees are the least welcoming I’ve ever seen in a gym ? maybe they all just had a bad day but ian was yelling at me for having 2 ID’s that he’s not used to seeing and telling me I’m not worth 10,000$ ? don’t get me wrong i definitely had some choice words that weren’t professional of me at all. Cops had to escort me out for walking in on a guest pass and even they confirmed that my ID was very much valid but still wasn’t good enough for him somehow. Guess I’ll try somewhere else ??

There have recently have a insufficient number of bar bells to accommodate all the workout equipment that require them. I.e benches and squat racks. To my knowledge this facility should have enough to purchase at least 3-4 extra barbells to accommodate its paying customer. The staff is great the gym feels small with the increase of population Waxahachie has recently experienced.

Really not a bad gym but wish they would utilize the space better as well as organize the machines around the gym that make more sense… hate that you have to go from one side to the other when you’re working out your legs for instance. Also, I’ve been here for almost a year and the amount of cardio machines is a little much (specifically elliptical machines…many are not used) and wish they would clear some of those out and have a designated open area for mats/stretching instead of the small spaces in the back corners by the locker rooms (I know they have the room in the front but usually during the week they hold classes in there). Also, I feel like the last month they’ve kept the AC temp higher bc it’s been super toasty in there and unfortunately when you walk in you can smell the BO. Pls turn the AC down
