The Southern Mercantile is an absolutely amazing store located just off the square in historic downtown Waxahachie. It features a great variety of cute booths from many local vendors offering hand-made and homemade goods. Shoppers can find everything from toys, clothes, and shoes to homemade salsa, printed pictures, and dog biscuits, all very affordable. The store is organized, well-kept, and in a great location. The staff and vendors are incredibly kind, friendly, and provide excellent service. Employees are knowledgeable and willing to help find items or arrange special orders. This small, family-owned business offers a wonderful shopping experience with a cool find every visit, making it a highly recommended stop.

Southern mercantile is a great store to shop.
I love the local vendors with their hand and homemade goods. It’s in a great location just off the square of our historic downtown Waxahachie. I visit at least once a week and sometimes more.

Such a cute shop on the sqaure in downtown Waxahachie where the best courthouse in Texas is located.
Amaing variety of items from several different vendors.
Defnitely recommend stopping by and checking it out!
