Professional, thorough, and they looked for ways to help keep the bill DOWN. You don't see that every day!

I moved to Stepenville from south Texas. I was excited to see a Banfield I drove that hour just to go there. They are awesome, amazing professionals. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I am so satisfied they show how much heart everyone has. They never disappoint I do the drop off option that is how much I trust them.

On Jan 20 Blue, crossed the rainbow bridge with the help of the caring staff at the Banfield in Weatherford. The vet and the tech were very kind and compassionate. It’s never easy to say goodbye, but we appreciated the level of care and concern we received from the day we called to make the appt to the receptionist who returned his ashes today. Thank you to all involved that day.

Cannot get a hold of this office and they don't return calls. Deeply annoyed of the level of service that this location provides.

I made a appointment for my dog today due to excessive licking of one of his paws for 4 days. I was called and told that it was really red and they would need to shave it to examine further to make sure nothing else was going on. I was charged 40.49 for a medical groom/clip level one. (My dog is also enrolled in the care plan. I guess this is not included????) I am unsure how they were able to properly examine his paw, as they stated was needed. I see no evidence of any shaving of his paw. They also advised us to buy him a cone. FOR WHAT?? What could they even see? I reached out to discuss this with them before writing this review and did not receive a call back. I am requesting a refund and cancelling my care plan. My dog will not be going back.

We went in to Banfield as a first time customer ever with our brand new kitten that week had adopted a week ago. We had a specific request that we were there for a general check up and to test for herpes. The lady at the front desk told us then we should do a SNAP test. She explained the test a little but my mind is a little fuzzy since it was 7 am. My husband says he remembers that she told us it would detect herpes. So in me and my husband’s mind we were getting our kitten tested for herpes. We were not offered any other kind of method to test for herpes and we were not told at that time that to test for herpes is a whole other test. We trusted the woman at the front desk to sign us up for the correct test and we left our kitten there. And then 6 hours later I get a call saying my kitten is ready and she tested negative for two other things that I didn’t ask for her to be tested on. I also specifically asked what time my kitten would be done and the lady at the front said she’d be done around 12 but she was down later than that and made me late for work. Me and my husband went back to the vet. We spoke with the front desk and it was a different person this time. We immediately asked about how we specifically came here to test for herpes and we were tested for two other things completely separate to herpes. The woman we spoke to went to the back to ask and another lady with scrubs on came out and explained the SNAP test and how herpes is a separate test that they don’t usually do. She said she asked “Kim” which she said is the woman we spoke with in the morning and that Kim explained to us what the test would detect. The lady in scrubs then said the herpes test would be $300+ and if we had requested to take that test that same day she was willing to take the $70 SNAP test off our bill. I’ve been vet swapping to find an answer for my kitten so I don’t have an extra $300 lying around. Especially around the holidays. I just feel completely scammed and totally turned off from Banfield entirely. Can’t believe my first time I ever go to one of your locations that I have to pay $80 for a test that didn’t even do what we asked for. The staff were all very kind but I will never go to Banfield hospitals again. Awful experience. Side Note: Another vet in the area (Millsap Veterinary Clinic) they said they could test for herpes in two ways and that it would only be around $100 or under. Do NOT come here they raise costs and misinform you so you pay more money. Thank you Banfield.

I have taken my dogs to many Banfield Pet Hospitals during out travels and this is the best one. Glad that we moved to the area and will continue to use them to take care of my two little babies.

They misdiagnosed my elderly dog and recommended a specialist that charged me a few thousand to put him under and run tests. They also lied when they told me they cancelled my wellness plan in person. It’s been a nightmare to get that cancelled and my money returned. This place only cares about money and nothing else.

Our dogs were all on a care plan, but we decided to not renew it. When we last visited, they asked us if we wanted to renew and we told them we did not. Come to find out a month or so later, it was renewed. We are not able to reach anyone to have them reverse this through the main line. Very frustrating and seems scammy.

Bought the wellness package for one of my cats plus flee treatments. He got x-rays, dental work evaluation, shots and medicine for a issue he has. Way worth it. Monthly cost is $72 which includes a bunch of things. I saved over $400 dollars in just this first evaluation and the things they did. So glad I purchased this it's really worth it for me and my cat.

My adult son got a puppy several months ago. We brought him here for his shots. When my wife went to pick him up, the young lady at the front desk said we could not get the puppy back until we signed up for a $75/mo plan. We canceled it promptly, we just wanted my adult sons puppy back. It’s been 6 months and I just found out they’ve continued to bill us monthly. They are crooks who hold puppies ransom. Can’t get much worse than that.
