“So on my way to Ruby Mae, haha that rhymed, I stopped at another boutique and was judged and looked up and down (with A LOOK) by the staff.I had left work, oilfield industry, I'm a blue collar girl. My shirt had holes in it because of welding, and I wasn't especially clean. However you can tell by my eyebrows, and hair, that I do put effort in.Due to feeling grossed out by how I was greeted at the first shop I decided to leave and try somewhere else.That's when I came across Ruby May boutique. The woman working (I think the owner), was super chill. Also she is a fellow tall lady and I love that.I found a hat, and an air freshener that says babes support babes.I will be coming back not only to convince her to be my new friend but to shop and support other women, who are not overly judgemental.”

“I wish I would have paid attention & got the woman's name who assisted me today. She was wearing a long sleeve white & blue vertical stripe shirt & had long dark hair in the bra department. She measured me & helped me find the perfect fit after years of me not knowing my true size. I can't thank her enough. I have probably waited years because I dreaded the process but she was super helpful and it made my day.”

“***Edited to say I did speak with someone at the store today 11/21 (who was really kind) and the policy actually only applies if you are dropping off and not staying in the store (this was not explained the first time) it is also displayed to read through at drop off so I will be updating my rating due to this. This trip was a MUCH different experience than the last time. Everyone was kind and professional I stayed in the store chose store credit and used our credit to purchase some things while there.

AKA you will be lowballed to the max and don’t have the right to decline it when they do. I was definitely not given a reasonable offer and won’t be back.

I have went there since my daughter was little (she’s 19 now) and had always had decent experiences but this last time and the dishonest new policy they have implemented is a no go for me.”
