On the reccomendation of my elderly mothers financial advisor, she booked an appointment for 12 Noon on Saturday. Since this location was nearly 40 minutes away from her home, I drove her there and made an appointment for myself at the same time. 2 or 3 birds with one stone. Sure, you can throw a rock in any direction and hit an H&R Block but because this particular branch was recommended, she wanted to go there. We arrived 15 minutes before our scheduled appointments. 11:45am They did not meet with my mother until 12:30. By the time she was done, they hadn’t called my name or bothered to apologize for the wait. When we were in the lobby is when my namewas called @ 12:45. My mom was ready to go back home and we had a long drive so I left without ever getting my scheduled meeting. I’m sure it did t matter to them, the lobby was filled with people waiting.

They stand behind their work 100%. I would recommend JaneAnn and her team to everyone. We have been taking our taxes to JaneAnn and her team for years and have watched her business grow but still be the same caring and friendly team.

This review is specific to my experience with Ly Poovey in Weatherford: Ly processed multiple W-'s and 1099 for me this yr,... guided me through HRBlock's service costs, informed me of deductions I had missed, even worked with IT to trouble-shoot a portal issue. If you want your taxes in the hands of a pro - she's your gal :)

I rarely write reviews but my experience here with Miss Ly has been absolutely phenomenal. I had issues with my 2020 tax returns which were marked as frivolous. Had lots of complications with it like being charged civil penalties, and refund frozen, and audits etc. Miss Ly were extremely committed and through with talking to IRS and getting it resolved. All the penalties were abated and also got the full refund with interest from last 2 years. I didn't have to talk to IRS even once it was all done by Miss Ly. I'll absolutely recommend going here for filing taxes each year. Thank you.

Did our taxes on TurboTax and it said we owed, took it to HR block where they charge 150$ to file. Thinking they would do a better job and get more back on our return. Ended up owing more after they put in the information. After telling the clerk we owed less on turbo tax. She insisted we pay 80$ for her time even though filing through them would’ve cost more. Disappointed and feel robbed. Will not return

I showed up last year to Ms Poovey with a hard case from oversea that she had to translate before filing. She has been on top of everything from the first moment.Professional and always prompt on her answers to my emails, Ms Poovey has been able to give me that comfort and secure feeling that everybody should have in such a delicate moment, that's why I didn't blink one second to go back this year and hopefully till ill retire.The entire stuff is always friendly and available. I strongly recommend this office in Weatherford as I recommended Ms. Poovey to all who I love.
