Can’t say enough good things about the team at Genesis of Weatherford aka Jerry’s Hyundai. I have purchased 4 cars from the dealership over the last several years. They have always taken such great care of us. From Blake in sales who is just awesome, to the sales Manager who is very nice and helpful, to Darren in the service deportment who is amazing and his team... I wanted a specific car that at the time they did not have, so I purchased it from another dealership in Dallas.. big mistake.. Not everything goes perfect all the time with cars, but the most important thing is how nice they were to me in my difficult situation, and how they all showed such empathy towards me and really went above and beyond to help me get out of a bad situation. They all took great care of me and went above and beyond to help me. I am now if the car of my dreams and couldn’t be happier…. Just top notch all the way around.

I absolutely love my vehicle! However, for this to be considered a luxury brand, the customer experience has been far from luxury. I have owned a few luxury vehicles and each time I have a service appointment, I’m reminded that it is not the same. From having to explain the warranty on my car to the half car wash that is offered at the completion of the appointment. For the life of me, I can not understand why I have to update my navigation system when it could have been done during the service appointment. I was told that it would be an additional 3 hours wait after having already been for 3 hours for a simple oil change and point check. So now I have to download it to an USB and do this special update, myself. Again, I love my car but Genesis dropped the ball on the service. From what I gathered, it isn’t just Genesis of Weatherford who’s struggling i with client and customer experience.

The experience of buying this car was unique. There was no rush to decide the day I came. My salesman Jay stayed in the background allowing me to browse, ask questions, and be indecisive.He followed up without pressure. I ended up feeling valued as I worked with the dealership to choose my beautiful new GV70. Thanks to all!

I had an amazing experience with Darion as my sales associate and Mike, the GM, who fought for me to have the best financing APR he could get. They both went to bat for me! After talking with a few friends who have also recently purchased, I realize how low he got it - my APR is multiple points lower than any of my friends. I really appreciated feeling like they were genuinely on my side. Then Javonte, another sales associate, partnered with Darion to ensure I knew all the extra bells and whistles. This was a fun, easy purchase experience. I haven't had one like it in the past, so it definitely deserves all five stars!!Thanks so much! I loooove my new Genesis.

Don’t not allow them to say you can only using their for loan approval. They tried to say it takes 90 days for them to receive funds from a credit union which was not true. I called the credit Union while at the dealer, placed the representative on speaker phone. I then asked representative about the 90 day situation the dealer mentioned and it was false. It takes 3-5 business days once the dealers confirms the sale and endorses the check with the financial institution. I was forced to take a higher interest rate, due to the false information against better judgment; I did not pick up my approved check from the bank and I was forced to use on of the banks they utilize. Mind you the dealership was about 180 miles from my city.I can only imagine the number of customers who have taken higher interest due to them on false pretenses.

My sales rep was good; but the finance department were very deceptive. I specifically said I didn’t want ANY add on to the agreed finance price. They informed me there won't be any add ons; only to find out these people added $5880 to the agreed price. The very thing I said I didn't want was added on. This tells me that GENESIS of WEATHFORD do not listen to their customers. If I knew this is the kind of customer service that goes on there, I wouldn't have drove 1 hour to this dealership for this vehicle. This is one of the reasons for my1 ratings; honestly if i could give a 0 rating i would. I can't recommend this dealership to any of my friends and family Is the principle for me, when a customer says they don’t want something you don’t add it on in respective of them telling you not to. My second reason for a 1 ratings is while the dealership was shopping for the "best rate" as they put it. The rate that was given was not the "best rate" With my credit score it made no sense for the high rate. After leaving the dealership i went on the same lender website and according to my credit score of 777 i shouldn't have gotten that crazy rate of 8.37. The lender, Capital One is promoting a low interest rate of 4.49 with customer with credit score between 661-780. Since my credit score fall right in between Captial one advertised credit score it made no sense for me to get that high rate. With all that I experience i highly doubt this dealership lookout for their customers as they state they do. I am Highly disappointed! Also, I am Still waiting on request cancellation for the extra $5880 added on the agreed price; which they state it takes 8-10 weeks, then i get an email asking for the lender account number which tells me they haven't started working on it yet. It is ridiculous that i have to wait that long for something i mentioned more than two times I didn't want and shouldn't be on the agreed price. If you are looking for a Genesis please go to a different dealership, so you don't have to deal with this headache.

Needed to post just how poor my dad and I’s experience at this dealership was. Our salesman (whose name I cannot even tell you as he didn’t even bother to introduce himself) completely acted as though he wasn’t even interested in our business. We were treated poorly with 0 communication. My dad informed the guy we were prepared to take not 1 but 2 vehicles off their lot (a GV70 and corvette) so pretty sad to experience such poor treatment. I would NOT recommend purchasing from this dealership. Not to mention if you have a trade they’ll offer you an insulting amount. Save yourself the trouble and buy elsewhere.

If you’re looking for a Hyundai or Genesis, see Jason at Jerry’s Hyundai / Genesis of Weatherford. He’s honest, transparent, attentive, knowledgeable, and he sincerely cared about my needs. I’d buy from him again in a heartbeat and will refer him to anyone who is in the market for a Hyundai or Genesis. You won’t be disappointed.
