“Darrel from Trickle Creek went above and beyond to make our day special. He was kind, helpful, honest, and attentive. Trickle Creek is a one of a kind venue. The place is a small piece of heaven that feels like home.”
“Nice botanical garden with some historical exhibits and fountains. Came on a Wed afternoon and was the only visitor! Friendly staff in the admission area which also sells a few bits and bobbles. Wouldn’t quite call it a gift shop though.
Trails are well marked and it’s remarkably peaceful. This place must look gorgeous in the spring and summer. But I’ll tell you during my visit in the off season there’s not much to look at. The fountains/pool areas are choked with the foliage coming down from the trees so you can’t see/feed the fish. And besides the herbs there are nary a flower. Saw two butterflies! Sadly because of the slow offseason or being short staffed the historical house and train station home were locked/closed.
All to say is that during season, this is a place to spend some time and I’d highly recommend it. In the off season? A good place to take a peaceful stroll to clear your mind.”

“Stayed here for a couple nights, had a great experience. Staff was friendly, room was clean, and had a decent little pool area. Location is in a great spot next to the highway with plenty of restaurants all around.”
“Chandor Gardens actually surprised us. The gardens are pretty and I can see how it would be gorgeous in the spring. On the day of our visit, we stopped by the office to pay for admissions, but a note on the door indicated they were out to lunch and to enjoy the garden for free. There are lots of opportunities for photographs. There were lots of water features. We did not stay too long because the garden was full of biting gnats and mosquitos, so do not forget the bug spray when visiting.”
