I went the cheap route and another mechanic put my brakes on incorrectly causing more damage. I am extremely grateful for the manager and Art for walking me through it throughly and taking the time to explain what was needed and why.

The employees working there are very friendly and informative.The shop was fairly busy. The time they told me it would take was even less than I expected especially with all the cars I saw waiting for service. Great service and I was on my way quickly.

Refused to give me a quote on struts over the phone. I had to come in person. I said, I called another Brake Check who me a quote over the phone. You leave a San Antonio number when people write bad reviews to call and you go straight to voicemail. I'm not leaving you my number.

SCAMMERS! Beware! My mother went to this place and I thought we could trust a brand like brake check to take care of her, they charged her the same amount as the dealer would, and couldn’t even fix it right! (THOUSANDS) She was better off paying the dealer with the same markups with the dealership being able to back their work. They then have the audacity to want to charge more to throw more parts and labor at it at their mistake!
Paying high prices and getting the work done right is one thing.
Paying exorbitant prices for shoddy work is just not right.

A quick review - came in on Friday as a walk-in. Friendly. Took my car back. Came back with pads (which I knew) and that was it. No trying to upsell. Put the pads on and cleaned the rotors. After they tested it, they went back and cleaned the rotors again to make sure they were right. Great job and would use again

Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE customer service ever! Called for a price on oil change. Got to the store and wanted to make sure of price. Manager Amad (I don't know if that's how his name is spelled) said he couldn't give me price until all other cars they had ahead were done. He said 2-3 hrs. But we wanted to know price more less. He then again said que cannot put our car in the system until the other cars were done and that now it was going to take 3-4 hrs. We felt that he didn't want our business. We had never been treated like this at a Break Check location. We decided to take our business to the Pasadena location and were received by a gentleman very welcoming and professional, what a change in customer service!!!! Never go to this location again!
