Zero stars how does this place even stay in business? I pretty much had the same experience as many of the folks on this review board price on the Internet seemed like a great price for the vehicle that I wanted when I drove an hour across town the sales person seems plenty nice to give me a test drive and the vehicle was nice as I expected, then he said I will go get some pricing for you and I'll be right back at least to say I was not impressed at the get-go knowing that the price online was already established when he returned, he gave me a price that was what was higher plus an additional $6000 for a shiny add-ons that they have supposedly put on aftermarket Even though we all know this is a bunch of BS anyway, I told the sales person not to waste my time. This was not my first time at the rodeo and so I proceeded to walk out. He then tried to stop me and I stopped for one round, so he could go check with his manager only to say that they could not do the deal online. I left no problem. I have no tolerance dealing with shady dealerships. It's almost comical because it's a horrible method of doing business and I'm not sure who are the idiots buying these vehicles from them I mean you'd have to be a person that just doesn't understand the process. By far the WORST car dealership in America! Oh Well moving on.

I came in the other day to purchase my first vehicle and I had sooo many questions. Richard Fernandez was literally the best. He answered all my questions to a T, and even taught me and my partner a few things. Great service! Ill be sending all my friends and family to him for sure.

I had a fantastic experience as a first time car buyer at Big Star Dodge. I looked online at availability for the car I wanted, got an appointment scheduled for that day to come in and see/drive the car. Within an hour of arrival the very knowledgable and kind sales person, Kevin, was able to get me the assistance I needed to buy the car I’ve been waiting to have. I’m currently waiting to complete the finance process which I’m sure will be just as smooth of an experience. I’m happy I found Big Star Dodge, ask for Kevin!

I do not recommend this dealership as they failed in sales, financing, preparation of the vehicle, and with customer service and follow-up. While negotiating the purchase, the sales representative failed to mention that RAM offers a $500 cash back option for military members and veterans, despite my mentioning that I am a retired Marine and that I run a nonprofit that serves veterans. I discovered this information from another dealership. The financing department made multiple mistakes regarding my applications, including failing to include an additional $40,000 of annual income from rental properties in my first application, which resulted in THAT application being denied due to high debt to income ratio despite having excellent credit, which has subsequently reflected negatively on my credit rating. They then did not immediately inform me of this issue. The second application to a different bank was held up due to errors in and omissions in the application, and as a result five weeks passed without financing being sorted out. Throughout this process the staff was not proactive with updates and did not return calls. When the issue with the financing first arose, the gentleman in the finance department informed me of the initial issue, stated that he would apply to a different lender, and that the loan would be funded within two days. I then heard nothing. When the two days expired, I called him and multiple times without a response. I then called the sales representative and left a message which was not returned. I called the receptionist and asked for a sales manager, was directed to voicemail, and left a message which was not returned. I called again, was directed to the voicemail of a DIFFERENT dales manager, which was also not returned. I eventually had to drive to the dealership to interact with a staff member who could address the issue. The matter lingered for several weeks, and I was eventually called in again to sign more paperwork. When I arrived and informed the same receptionist that I was there to sign paperwork but short on time, she stuck me in a waiting area and left me there without directing me to the correct office. She treated every request like an invitation to her own funeral. In all, it took over five weeks for the loan to be funded, and after six weeks and 3,000 miles, I still do not have registration for this vehicle. Finally, the vehicle was not properly prepared by the staff when it was delivered. The washer fluid ran out in the first three weeks as it was not filled completely before I left the dealership. Also, each tire was filled to a different incorrect tire pressure, which has caused the low tire pressure warning to go off and which will not go away, even though I have corrected the issue. These are small issues, but one expects more when buying a band new vehicle, which one would expect to be able to drive without issue for quite some time. Every time I turn on the truck and see the warning indicators, it sours whatever positive feeling I might have had regarding this purchase. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Absolutely the best truck buying experience ever! We met with Elvis and he was absolutely wonderful! As soon as my husband and I got there, Elvis made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. He asked all the right questions so that he could find the perfect truck for us and never pressured us into something that we didn't want. He was extremely patient and understanding of our needs. He was able to find the perfect truck for us! You can tell right away that Elvis is very knowledgeable of the vehicles that are on the lot. We strongly recommend Elvis and Big Star Dodge as they made our truck buying experience go so smoothly and was very enjoyable. Thank you, thank you, thank you Elvis! I AM ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH MY/OUR TRUCK!!!!!

My interaction with Elvis, the salesman, was nothing short of impressive, even though I ultimately didn’t make a purchase. From the moment I walked into the dealership, Elvis’s warm and welcoming demeanor put me at ease.Elvis was attentive and genuinely interested in helping me find the right car, despite my uncertainty at the time. He took the time to understand my needs and preferences, patiently answering my questions and providing valuable information about the available options. What truly stood out was Elvis’s professionalism and his commitment to customer service. He never made me feel pressured to make a decision or rushed in any way, which is a rare quality in the world of sales.Throughout our conversation, it was clear that Elvis was passionate about cars and deeply knowledgeable about the models on the lot. He shared insights, pointed out key features, and allowed me to explore the vehicles at my own pace, fostering a sense of trust and confidence.Despite not making a purchase that day, Elvis left a lasting impression on me. His dedication to helping customers find the right fit, combined with his friendly and approachable manner, sets him apart as a remarkable salesman. Should I decide to buy a car in the future, I would certainly return to the Big Star dealership and seek out Elvis’s assistance. His commitment to customer satisfaction deserves recognition, even in the absence of a sale.

BAIT AND SWITCH, SUPER SHADY! PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE HERE. I am an honest person, please trust me on this. I've been buying vehicles for 30 years and this is the first time that this has ever happened to me. I purchased and I feel deceived, manipulated, bullied and gaslighted when discussed with the Saleman and Sales Manager. 1. The excuse that every other dealership does the same thing is just an excuse for bad selling practices. 2. The excuse of "if you did not do so that you would go out of business" is unethical. Your Finance Manager said this. They slipped in $3995 of add ons on paper that was not part of our sales price negotiation or ever discussed as part of any sales price. Your contention that it was never part of the sales price to negotiate BUT it is indeed part of the sales price for all TITLE work and purchase order and this substantiates your misdeeds. This needed to have been disclosed to me before going to finance to have made an informed decision. Disclosing it to me in Finance on the very last document once I discovered and had to argue my point was unprofessional. And the $1000 payoff overestimate that I provided would be a reduction in my financing total but your adding it to the $3995 in add-ons allowed for you to keep this amount rather than passing it on to me! While this was eventually corrected after literally arguing, it was still a deceitful to attempt. Additionally, I was told I would receive 2 "free" oil, changes and tire rotations although I paid $199 for it. Lastly, our final negotiation was to request $1000 reduction off the sales price and we have a deal. You said yes BUT removed the $1644 rebate which increased my bottom line by $644 more and not a $1000 less! You looked me in the eye and said the manager originally said no but you talked him into it, slid the order to me for signature. I should have checked the math! When you go to sign in finance, everything is an electronic signature and you are rushed through the process. While I'm comfortable with electronic documentation, this process allows for information to be diluted and difficult to review. I believe that this is intentional. A shout out to the salesman Dejuan Wright: while an apology was made as you acknowledged that you never disclosed, it lacked all substance and was merely an acknowledgment made with excuses. It was insincere and provided for no resolution. Now for $3995 add-on... I now understand that it includes lifetime window tint (really? Come on) includes Clear Coat (shouldn't there already be clearcoat on a $50,000 vehicle?) and 4 or 5 years of Theft Protection. I could've done without every one of these and providing something in writing about these would have been helpful! You sold me a package that I did not need and This package benefited the dealership for revenue not the customer. And the dealership was underhanded in doing so without disclosing it.So last week I received an email from jeep.com. The email thanked me for giving the dealership a service rating of all 10's which I did not do! The signature was not mine! And I would have never rated them as a 10. Pretty dishonest. Please go down the street and save yourself some grief. Find a salesman and dealership that is forthcoming, honest and transparent. Please know that any response from them will also be more of the same. Don't fall for it. I fully expect to be gaslighted as I was in speaking with the salesman manager. Right off the bat, he was hostile and condescending. Please do not purchase with this business. I purchase a vehicle from Ron Carter in Dickinson 4 months prior and my recommendation is to go there. They were transparent, forthcoming and honest, unlike Big Star.

See good price on website, call and confirm with Savannah that price is as shown on the website without any additions. Told yes. Text Savannah picture of the price with tax/title/license and ask to confirm that's the price with nothing added. Told yes. Drive an hour, arrive at dealership, salesperson (not Savannah) gives price with additional $4995 in dealer add-ons that can't be removed. Lying waste of time.

Very deceptive dealership. After visiting the dealership I made an offer on a vehicle via text the next morning to Salesman Dennis. Dennis replied to my offer with, "Let's do it" , When can you be here?". When I arrived at dealership they did not hold to the price that was agreed to via text. They claim " let's do it", meant "Let's negotiate". In my many years of car buying I have never been dealt this way by a car dealership. Ironically Big Star's motto is, Treat People R.I.G.H.T. Respect-Integrity-Growth-Humility-Teamwork. This sadly was not how I was treated.

I would give no stars if it let me, I have bought 4 vehicles from here before they became Big Star and have had no issues. Now the service department is terrible. I got a notice of a recall on my gladiator rear axle and called to set an appointment. the service department sent me to someone else who does the recalls. that person said just bring it in, so I did on Tuesday morning. the service person Rolando took my vehicle and said it would be a couple hours and got me a ride home. I called that evening and they had not even looked at it. called this Mouring and was told tech. was looking at it now by a different service person. just call again at 4pm and was just told tech. has not looked at it but is about to pull it in to do so. again, Rolando is still with another customer, so I did not talk to him. so, they have lied to me at least twice so far. they still have my Jeep and continue to lie to me. I will not be buying another vehicle from this dealer because of this service. Do not by from this dealership, the salespeople are great, however. once they sale you the car it is apparent, they no longer care about good customer service.

Very happy with my overall experience in the service department. Especially coming from Ford. Reminded me a lot of my treatment at Infiniti which is to say it was excellent. Prices were what you’d expect to pay at a dealership but their waiting area was comfortable and packed with amenities. Paul took care of me and everyone was super friendly and helpful.I only docked 1 star because the entire time I was waiting, I could hear a couple guys in the sales offices swearing and yelling loudly while joking around. I’m not offended but it was obnoxious and eventually a family sat in front of me and I could tell they weren’t happy having their son listen to all that.Overall was great though and I intend to come back.
