We always use clear lake kennels and the employees are DOG PEOPLE. My dogs aren’t scared when they walk in, which means a lot, and the staff are always so excited to greet them.

We had our Akita dog groomed here and they were simply amazing. They did a fantastic job, made him feel comfortable as this location and groomer were all new to him and the price was great too!

My Doberman has been here many times while we go on weekend trips. Never had any issues and I can’t complain about anything. They seem to always be on the ball and take great care of the pets.

We live out of state. When my wife's mother passed away, we needed a place for her dog to go that WASN'T a kill shelter, especially considering the age of the dog. Clear Lake worked with us over the phone, accepted the dog, and held her for a few nights before a friend of the family could get there to pick her up. Not only did the kennel help us, but they tended to a "hot spot" on the dog from the stress of being in the apartment for 2 days with her dead mommy. I believe the kennel even bathed the dog, as I'm sure she was rank when they received her.

Melanie and all staff were very welcoming from start to finish! Sending videos, pictures and making sure the family knew our baby girl was taken care of and having tons of fun while being pampered and loved on constantly!! We’re glad we found a place that we can trust and will most definitely be back!!

Took my 6 month old puppy to Clear Lake Kennels while out of town for daughters wedding. Was reluctant because puppy was so young but she did fantastic. The ladies at CLK even sent a few videos of our pup while we were gone! I would definitely recommend them for boarding your pet.

After many terrible experiences with groomers, I was so nervous about trying out a new groomer. Dawn did such an amazing job on my sweet boy and she even texted me these pictures of him to make sure everything was how I liked it. He will definitely be making many trips back here! ✂️

We were looking for a place to take our baby who has separation anxiety, and who was in the midst of being trained through some aggression and anxiety issues. We were actually rejected by 2 other places! and I was very upset and worried no one would take my baby, and then I found this place! Ends up he didn't have any aggression issues after training but he is left with severe anxiety. This place is very attentive and takes extra special care of our babies. Plus for aggressive dogs, they do have a no-contact / touch option to let them in and out of the kennel. And they have radios / TV if your babies need that sound to soothe. We also get our other baby groomed here as well, reasonable and trustworthy we highly recommend.
