I volunteer and donate to Family Promise of Clear Creek, because I think it's a wonderful organization that helps homeless families work to get back on their way to becoming self sufficient and independent once again. I enjoy working with Gayle, the director and Jessica, the social worker who are both kind and loving people who truly care about the families they serve. Without volunteers and donations, this vital community organization would not be possible.

Ive been so blessed by this program. I was homeless moving thru shelters trying to provide for my family. Family Promises of Clear Creek provide more than a shelter, they taught me tools to stand on my own. They gave me a structured plan to learn and heal and become self sufficient. Im so blessed that even after graduation im still a member of their Family. And that means the world to us. Thank you Family Promises of Clear Creek.

This organization not only help homeless families, they give hope to the hopeless in time of despair. If you need a local place to donate too are maybe even be a volunteer in any capacity, you need look no further.

Would not accept anyone trying to do community service work. They refuse free labor due to a previous altercation where a c.s. worker stole a truck. So...they refuse anyone else now. Wow.

Family Promise of Clear Creek is a great organization that partners with local non-profits and houses of worship to provide a unique service to families in-between housing. The program the families go through is rigorous, but end results are very hopeful: families are able to get back on their feet and find sustainable housing and sources of income.

My issue for them was going to school full time. I walked in having my life partially together. Like most places, they'll only help you if you're a complete hopeless case. But if you're dying from heat exhaustion and ask them for a glass of water, they won't give it to you. If you contact these people, make sure you don't have a job and aren't in school so they're free to help you as they want.
