I will never step into another Guitar Center again in my entire life. Upon entering the store the so called Manager said hello but didn't feel welcomed. I have spent thousands & thousands of Dollars at Guitar Center, but never again. I was going to purchase 2 guitars cash, & was only the usual $5 discount I receive countless notifications to spend plus I was asking for my $30 rewards that no one can seem to find within their archaic network. Anyway the manager wasn't even willing to make that happen. I did use a profane word, but I was treated poorly only from him. Webster Nassau Road location is where I went. Will close my account Today.

Rude sales guy at the main counter. Never acknowledged me! Thank God another person stepped in. I spent 500.00 on a gift card.

Utterly unacceptable.Received a guitar third party, shipped from this store via Musicians Friend. BOUGHT a BRAND NEW Squire Classic Vibe 70s Thinline Telecaster... and I excitedly open the box to this (images attached).First - it was packaged in an IBANEZ box. That was the first flag this was a floor model/used.Second - Upon opening box, which they didn't even tape shut, pick guard has scratched and fingerprints ALL OVER it. Mind you, this was a "brand new guitar".Third - Pickups also smudged, fingerprinted, scratched. On a NEW guitar.Thirdly - turning over and a hefty chunk of paint and the wooden body is missing from the corner of the BRAND NEW Squire Guitar (in an IBANEZ box).I understand outsourcing, which Musicians Friend did, but GUITAR CENTER CLEAR LAKE got this sale, got the money, and SHIPPED this guitar as NEW STOCK.Utterly unacceptable Guitar Center. You should be ASHAMED of yourself for shipping this and considering it brand new. As a musician of over 30 years, multiple instruments, I have used you for that entirety. NOT ANYMORE. You have lost me as a customer, and SHAME on your management and employees for letting this happen. ?

I have never dealt with any customer service person as helpful, considerate, and able to manage a busy store like my mans Brandon.Personally I never write reviews unless I’m treated badly, but this dude needs to be running the show at guitar center. We came in honestly acting a lil crazy, due to our own stuff going on but I’ll be damned our dude Brandon didn’t treat us any different for how we dressed or acted. Which, it does really take a lot to always treat others as you’d wish to be treated, I even apologized at the end as I felt we were a lot to put up with and homie didn’t even break a sweat. 5/5 10/10 genuinely awesome experience & I know the sole person I wanna deal with for my equipment needs in the future.

Phillip is a great, knowledgeable representative for this location. Very helpful when I needed assistance with my guitars..techs are very good with guitar setups as well. My Washburn acoustic sounds like a new guitar after getting my setup done.I'm in the process of buying a new Martin acoustic and will likey but from this location if it's in stock.

Daniel helped us out and even tuned the guitar. Super great service and really just a good time at the guitar shop. Something you can't get off Amazon

Went in to try and sell a vintage guitar from the 60s and they offered me $350 because it needed a new nut and they would sell it for 600. Its sells on reverb for $1000 i decided to wait then went back a week later to take the offer and then they told me it would be 200 even though they should me the original email that they would give 350 and sell it for 600. They can't keep their story straight even though they showed me the email from their vintage shop. It doesn't cost hundreds to replace a nut and they know that.
