BEWARE OF SCAMS!!I took my car in for an Oil change. they told me my drive belt needed immediate attention and to be replaced for about $300. My car is a Hybrid, it is not built with a traditional drive belt, I took it to another dealership today and they confirmed that there was no drive belt. Maybe it's because I was a woman that they assumed I wouldn't notice or maybe they just tried getting me to pay for a service without even verifying that I needed it. never going back there.

Service at Honda of Clear Lake has been "ok" at best. I would not recommend them. I will not buy a car from this location due to their service center. On multiple occasions they were supposed to order parts for me then call me back and that never happens. I've been told the service manager will call and that never happens. Today I called to have recall work done and they stated they needed the car for 2 days. I asked for a loaner when I was told they didn't have any and could not tell me when they'd have one it. Their service center is ridiculous.

I have been coming to Honda of Clear Lake since I moved to Texas 11 years ago. Ted Holt has been my Service Advisor for the whole time. He is always ready and willing to do what it takes to ensure that his customers are happy when they get back their vehicles. He is professional, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, patient and always gets his customers with a smile. Ted is the BEST.

NEW BUYERS BEWARE!!! This dealership poorly advised me and led me to mindlessly signing a contract against my best interest. I am new to car buying and went there alone. I explained why I was there and I was in a terrible financial position being unemployed and not knowing what to do. I wanted to trade in my vehicle but I learned I had too much negative equity - they denied my trade in and advised me to surrender the vehicle. they put me in a car that's more affordable or easier to make up the payments somehow, which I sold everything I own to be able to do until I was able to find a job. BUT HOW DID I GET THE CAR WITH NO VERIFIED INCOME? WHAT TRICKS DID THEY USE? well for starters, I explained my unemployed situation. they advised me to just write my most recent which was $2k/month. everything these days is e-signed, and I had assumed this was an HONEST dealership but they're NOT. they CHANGED my income without me knowing and bevause it was e-signed, they just pulled up and said "sign here here and here" and put it all on a thumb drive. I couldn't even review the contract contents that were on the thumb drive until I got home! I found out they LIED about my income. they knew I was unemployed, advised me to put my most recent income, then basically DOUBLED IT to approve me. how else can I be approved with $34k+ in debt with no income? now I'm $52k+ in debt and stuck with 2 cars that I'll likely have to get repo'd. I'm trying to use this as a learning opportunity. what is common sense to some people may just not have been taught to others. be mindful, and please don't ever come here without someone who knows what they're doing!!! it's dishonest and sleazy. terrible dealership.

Brought my car in for inspection and recall. Said inspection machine has been broken for months but can do recall. Next day didn't hear anything about my car so I called and said it will be ready soon. Never got a call so went there and the part was sitting on the service advisors desk. Said come back Monday your car will be done then. I said do you have a loner car , Michael said NO! So now I'm going to reach out to the service manager who doesn't work on Saturdays. I been coming here for 14 years and it's my last time.

I brought my 2018 CRV to Clear Lake Honda for the first time. New to League City TX, I was happy to find a dealer nearby. My car needed routine service but also inspection for a recall item(seat belts). I brought paperwork from my previous out-of-state dealer visits. My service writer checked them and determined what needed to be done at this visit. Lacie, the service advisor, kept me updated as to what the service tech found I needed. She advised me of the cost before proceeding. When my car was finished, she notified me. All work was done timely and everyone was informative and courteous!

Excellent customer service no.1!!!! the members of the sales team were very friendly and helpful, it’s not a “free for all” secondly, finance team really does work on accommodating your needs and requests. They really put in time to work with you!!! Tyrone was a great help, really appreciated his willingness to find something for me and I’m certain he does the same with all his customers

called to ask about a specific vehicle and they said they had it in the exact color. We worked the deal l, came to sign and drive and when the car pulled around it was not the color I asked over 5 times to confirm with three different people. Save yourself time and go somewhere else

Their service department has gone so downhill. Went in for an oil change, maintenance, and looking to possibly upgrade my vehicle. Was not greeted for several minutes, no structure or designated waiting area, finally someone asked who you hear to see. Wasn't friendly, no hello, came off as conceded, did not introduce himself and made me fill unimportant, my time and money not worthy (Bald, 50s, white male, glasses)

Had a horrible experience with service. They kept making promises they couldn't keep and would not update me on anything going on with my car unless I called to ask. I used to come here regularly and it was fine. Never coming back again. At least not to see Pete. No phone call for update. Inaccurate information. False promises. This was the worst.

Best experience in purchasing a car. John, the saleman and Steve, the manager were professional and so friendly. They tried there best to help me finding a perfect car for me. Took 1 hour to find what I want, gave me their best deal and check my credit. They said the car will be there in 10 days but they will try their best to make it earlier. I made a $500 deposit to keep the car. Just 2 days after, they called me and said the car was at the dealer, give them 2 hours to get every thing ready to pick up. I got there at 12, did some paper work for finance and John helped me setting up the car. Everything was so smooth and professional. I was able to drive out at 1. Thank you John and Steve for helping me out.

Pete Tran, the service advisor was very professional, courteous, friendly, and helpful during the interaction. The oil change was handled in an efficient quick fashion. Pete went over all the details of the inspection of my car with me and answered all my questions in an organized manner. The service wait area was clean and quiet. I would highly recommend both Honda of Clear Lake and Pete Tran as a professional service advisor.

We worked with Serviceman Tony, and he was terrific! He handled all of our issues professionally and answered all of our questions. We would definitely work with him again. The Service Department at Clear Lake Honda did a great job. I would only suggest that the department clean the cars that get work done totaling $500 or more worth of work performed. Thanks!
