Just wanted to say what a great time my friends and I had at La Madeleine in Webster last night. The food was outstanding, especially the Chicken Friand, which I had. Servers were helpful and friendly. This was a really fun place to get together with some friends!!

Been here a couple times and its very similar to panera bread if i had to compare it. In my opinion this place is better and has a better selection. The food was great and pastries but the coffee could have been better.

I have come to this restaurant quite often and I always get the chicken friand. The puff pastry is usually nice and soft and fresh looking. Usually the inside has a good amount of chicken mushrooms. The sauce on top is very very good. I went at 3:00 with someone else. I was never so surprised when I sat down and I probably should have taken it back but the pastry was hard. Very hard to cut. Whatever was inside was brown ground up .heaven's knows what that was. I do know that this is usually made with the little pieces of chicken and mushrooms and onions. That was not the case. The man that served it was very nice but he only put a tablespoon of sauce on the top of it so I tried hard to cut it and eat it but it actually made me sick. I lefta note on plate to say that I was not pleased with it at all and I will not be back. There were only two left. My friend and I got those two, but in retrospect those two should have been thrown out because they were dark looking and they were hard.

This Madeline used to be so good. I don't know who the chefs are on Saturdays but the food is so bland. We go to a bunch of different la Madeline's, this one the most and the food has just gotten to bland for the price. They don't put salt on anything or seasoning or butter here. Charged $3.99 for this small side of broccoli ? for my daughter tasted like it came out of a microwave steam bag had no butter or salt. She wouldn't even eat it. You go to the Pearland LaMadeline and they butter the broccoli tastes fresh and my 3 year old will eat almost the whole bowl, so worth it. Not to mention food came out cold and it was not even busy. Just disappointed at how downhill this location has gone.
