I had to write this review as I used to be a Home Depot ONLY person. Recently, I believe Lowe's (this location) has stepped their game up. I used have no luck finding associates to help if I had questions and needed a little bit of guidance, however, this recently changed. I stopped by with a list of things I needed to repair (ON A MISSION). I started at the garden center, as I needed some guidance on correct fertilizer and I was directed to a specific person who had been there "20 years". At first when I approached her she rolled her eyes and clearly didn't want to help. It was rather uncomfortable so I asked her if I should go to someone else. After she saw a photo of my lawn, she immediately knew what I needed and guided me to a specific fertilizer. I got it, and happily moved on to the main part of the store with the rest of my list. This is where I stumbled upon Cleighton. Maybe I looked a tad confused reading the aisle markers and he happily asked if I needed help. He walked me through my options on numerous repairs and had SO MUCH PATIENCE making sure I understood everything he was suggesting. This was A+++ customer service. It completely changed my view on Lowe's and I hope when I choose them over Home Depot in the future, they don't let me down. That's when I can upgrade my stars to 5 ;).

I bought a freezer with delivery and removal of the previous appliance. I paid for the removal of the previous appliance. When the delivery guy came, he was rude and refused to take the item because he did not have enough room in the truck and we did not adequately scrub the inside to his liking. He told us to call Lowe's and reschedule. Lowe's charged us money for this and will not remove the old appliance. I called them and I sent a certified letter. I had the same experience as Judy below. She also describes how Lowe's charged her and refused to take her appliance. I am so tired of large corporations bullying the little guy because they can get away with it. This is fraud. When I complained to Lowe's (online and by phone after a long wait), their staff are mocking me. I included a screenshot of their customer service representative's bad behavior. The whole thing and that they can get away with this is unbelievable.I filed a complaint of fraud with the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov/# . If Lowe's does this to you too, please file a complaint. It may only be $50 but this is repeated fraud against the consumer. I have contacted Lowes almost a dozen times since September 10, 2023. They still have the money to remove the old appliance and they still refuse to take the appliance.Update for 3:30, September 25, 2023. Hey Judy (the other Lowe's customer complaining on Yelp) if you are reading this Lowes just sent me a claim form for property damage and I think it might be about your broken tile. They said that they would finally come for the old appliance. I am hoping that they show up at my address and not yours. It is has been 3 weeks of bizarre and apathetic behavior from Lowe's employees and I am still waiting for another appliance to be delivered.

The service is not that great. Employees just standing around. The selection is usually out of stock ok. For the value you'd be better off at Home Depot hands down. It's value is around $10 and it does not work. I'd go with traditional caulking.

Do not recommend this store. They do NOT honor their return policy with receipt. Bought an item on clearance, didn't work out, and tried to return It new with receipt within the 90 day policy and the store manager rudely said this store doesn't take these type of returns. Even though the computer would allow It, they refused to process it. They look for any reason to deny a valid Lowe's return. My receipt clearly stated 90 days to return and I returned It within 30 days. Nowhere was the manager Jeremy's personal policy of denying clearance items written in the Lowe's stores return policy on the wall or my receipt. Jeremy also told me even if I filed a complaint nothing would change because his store doesn't accept these return. I hope my complaint goes to his boss. Unacceptable manager behavior. Called Lowe's customer service, and they verified that the store was wrong and this item was in fact eligible for return to any Lowe's store. I had to drive to the Lowe's store down the road. They took the return with receipt without any hassle and no questions asked. Much better experience. I was planning on going to this Lowe's to get all new flooring for my house but now I will be taking my business to a different store that honor's the return policy and has good customer service. They lost over 50k worth of future business over 30$ seat pillows. Have no intention on shopping here anymore. Home depot is right next door by the way.

I purchased a refrigerator from Lowes and their contracted delivery service was beyond horrendous. Not only did they break my tile while using a 2 wheeler but then the delivery guys called me names, staged their photos and refused to install the refrigerator or remove the old refrigerator. I had paid extra for the removal. Lowe's basically did nothing but I filed a claim and of course I was told in writing from the delivery company that I was devious and they weren't going to pay. Tried to talk to Lowe's about it and I was informed their hands were tied and nothing that they could do. This is absolutely ridiculous. Lowes you pay to contract with this company and yet nothing is being done. NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM LOWES THAT HAS TO BE DELIVERED. You will regret it just like I did.

I got a good price on the washer, but the delivery people are horrendous! They didn't ring the doorbell next to the door, nor knock on the door. They just assumed no one was home, put a door tag on and split. I called the delivery guy's cell 5 minutes later and asked if they could come back, they said no? (Really? What are you busy doing! You're supposed to be delivering my stuff!! Cancelled the order. Pathetic . . . .

Great hardware store. Picked up a dehumidifier to see if it will help the house feel cooler. Especially in the morning when the shower steam has warmed things up. They had several to choose from. Picked up some pool supplies and some garden supplies. Have a self check out and someone there to do it for you. ( I always use the checker- nice lady I want to help her keep her job). They had some of the lights off or were they out? Either way it saves energy and I liked it!

I am attempting to order a granite vanity top from the Webster Texas store, but because of gross incompetence, it does not appear to be possible. I started my journey last month (June), when I ordered a granite top and they scheduled someone to come for the measurements. They measured and then informed me I needed to pay the bill - fair enough. When I tried to pay the bill, I was informed that the minimum was for 25 sq. feet, but my order was only about 8 sq. ft. This was not what I was originally told at the store. Anyway, I went in and spoke to them and they redid my order on July 9th. It is now the 15th, and Sage, the fabricating company, has no idea about the new order; they only have the record of the old order which is on hold. When I called on the 14th, Sage said they would call Lowes and straighten it out by the end of the day and call me right back. They never did. I called today and they, Sage, still had no idea about the order, and they told me to call Webster. How it is so difficult to get a company to do their job for an item you have ordered weeks ago is beyond me. Meanwhile, my bathroom is half finished and my contractor is wondering why Lowes is unable to complete a simple order. Now, I will have to call Webster and go through their ridiculous answering system that is incapable of connecting me to the correct person, and try to get them to complete their own order. Now, let me state that I really hate Home Depot, but if Lowes can't get their act together, I will seriously rethink about were I want to spend my money for the next remodel, which will likely be in about 6 months, assuming I can get this stupid granite top done by then.

I was shopping at Lowe's and I need some wire 5:30 PM the man was serving someone that needed two wire cuts ,he got done but after cutting his wire he walked away talking ! Talking for another 30 minutes he said he'll be right with me 30 minutes later he came to me can I help you he didn't show him anything he was talking about projects that he's done or something ?he was 10 feet away ! My time is as important as anybody else!

I went in today to pick up my order I had placed online last night. When I got there they told me they couldn't find it. I am a patient guy so I waited. After about 30 minutes no one gave me any updates, so I looked up and down the main isle to see if I couls see anything that looked like my order. After about 15 more min. two guys brought it up and told me to bring my truck. When they went to put it in my truck, I noticed that they were trying give me wood products full of concrete dust and did not offer to clean off our replace. They wouldn't even help me tie it up in my truck. I called for the GM and told the employee I wanted to only talk to him. I thought he would want to know how his customers are being handled. They instead sent me this redneck asst with an attittude. I told him I wanted to speak to the GM he kept walking closer to me as if he could intimadate me and kept saying he was the asst mgr. as if that was all I was going to get! He then told me to get off of the property...I will never sop there again!

Definitely, the place for DIY projects so me and a friend went to get caulk, and a caulking gun, that's was all that was needed. Although, we did have and in-depth conversation with one other employees who worked in the area we searched who we discussed the project with and he gave some great pointers. The project was climbing on the roof to remove 2 satellites dish. It took about a good hour and of course you can get distracted, by other things up there and start to think what's the next project?Mission was accomplished, so on to the next one.Until next time, Bye-Bye!

Bought a dishwasher, went to return it (not even 4 hours after delivery) due to it having a big scratch on the door. The manager assistant Krystal said, " can't return it because the box was open." A total disappointment... The scratch is not glue...

Do not buy appliances from Lowes. I bought a dishwasher from them and contractor did not show up. Rescheduled; did not show up the second time. Try to get a refund, but that took a long time because the contractor had the job listed as "complete" in their system. The Lowes employees did try their best; but this system Lowes had set up is terrible.

This store has very poor management. This is the Christmas season and I tried to purchase a tool box on sale as a present. Took it to the cashier, he called head cashier then she called store manager. We finally got someone to the register and she acted as if we had just foreclosed on her new home. Advertised price for tool box was $274 in Texas and $154 in Florida, Georgia and other states. That wasn't the issue though. She refuse to sell item at Advertised price because they put the wrong tool boxes together. So I asked...just sell me the correct item then. She stated, that they didn't have it and she was not going to reduce the price on model that was marked wrong! At max were talking about $75. Nonetheless, she was not interested in customer satisfaction or anything related to it.This seems to be the atmosphere at this location period. For the record, Lowe's could care less about a negative review on yelp. This review is for some hot shot lawyer, that will file a class action against Lowe's one day and use these reviews as evidence. With that being said, I hope you don't have the experience I had this Christmas holiday season at Lowe's in Clear lake/Webster store #651.
