This place just refused to rent me a trailer because I was going to haul it with another rental from Home Depot, when I asked for a truck like the one from Home Depot or similar so I could get the trailer I was told they didn’t have one like it! Why in the world would you not allow me to get a rental when you can’t even offer the truck that “the competitor” does… the response was that she was not allowed to have their equipment being attached to their competitors… what a stupid way of thinking and handling business… forger the customer their pride is worth more…. Children… no wonder. Another reason to avoid the brand…

The truck had an improperly installed windshield wiper and when the rain storm came down it came off making it really hard to see and leaving me stranded. So when I finally got it to League CIty the U-Haul People blamed me for it.

Consuela (the owner) was so rude!! she's unsympathetic to a high stress situation. she told me I was fine to rent a truck then decided I couldn't after I already paid and had a pick up appointment then basically told me to f*** off without the truck. pick ANY other location.

Do not use this location. 1. They never answer the phone. 2. I called to push back my reservation time because my apartment was not ready. While in the phone with them they say "oh you already picked up your truck". No I did not. They mixed up my account with someone else. That took 20 minutes to fix. 3. Arrive there to pick up my truck. Several people standing around. No one could help me. They call for someone in the back he comes out and my reservation is still under someone else. While doing this a women tells me oh I've reversed the charge on your account. Also while I'm here they are laughing amongst themselves that they have left a woman on hold that wanted a storage unit.3. I leave and start my move process. A few hours go by and I stop for a few minutes to take a break & look at my bank info and I see not 1 charge from this place but 3. I call and the manager isn't in and nothing the guy can do. He says she will call you in the morning. It's morning now and no call so I call the location. They don't answer as usual. I proceed to tell the person on line everything that has happened and she says they are only holds you will get that money back in 3-5 business days. At this point I am livid. She says I can file a complaint with customer service transfers me and the wait time is 20 minutes. I'm moving and don't have time for this garbage. If I could give negative stars I would. Absolutely the worst customer service ever!!!

These people are scam artists. When you get your paperwork for your truck compare the odometer reading on the paperwork against the actual odometer on the truck. I didn't. They screwed me. I drove 15 miles round trip and they charged me for 60. Because I didn't verify the odometer prior to using the truck, I had no argument. Don't let this happen to you.

I went in to the store on old Galveston Road to buy a few moving supplies. The staff made me feel as if I was inconveniencing their conversation about a day this company had scheduled them to take propane certification classes. No one offered to even help me carry the load of stuff out. Customer service is strictly in the past unfortunately

Randell was completely out of line. First off, the experience was already a little frustrating because after fully loading the truck, it wouldn't start. They sent out roadside assistance who fixed the problem and we were on our way, it just put us back a few hours after an already long morning of packing and moving. That's fine, I understand things happen. But we get there and after unloading the truck it was really hard to maneuver out of the storage area ( we had a 26 ft truck and our storage room was in the very back with sharp corners and trailers and vans and cars in the way making it even harder ). I called the front desk and asked for help because I didn't want to risk any damage to the truck. They assured us we should be able to pull out easily because they do it all the time and that we had to pull it all the way to the front in order to be checked in. That may be true but I don't drive these trucks on a daily basis to know exactly how to do it. There was also a van parked there that I asked if they can move so we can at least try to back out of the area. No one moved it. So we had to pull the side mirrors in and literally squeeze through the drive way. IT TOOK FOREVER and a whole lot of going back and forth but we finally made it near the front. We come in and all the person helping me move said was there was a trailer parked in the very back that made it impossible to turn that corner. Randell responded very rudely with how he does it all the time anybody should be able to do it he kept mentioning how it wasn't his problem and was like "it's not my fault you can't drive" and was really just being very unnecessary for no reason and things escalated. I work in service industry and I know how it can be dealing with people but in this situation it was completely uncalled for and unwarranted. Idk he was like on a power trip or something it was really weird. I told the person helping me to leave because things were getting out of hand and as he was walking out Randell proceeded to follow him out the door like he was going to attack him. He only stopped chasing after him when I yelled I was going to call the police because if you were there you could see the way he followed him he was looking for a fight. I had to walk outside and find a lady to finish helping me check out.

I've used quite a few Uhaul locations in Houston and this store is by far the best I've been to! I didn't realize my new car didn't have the wiring for the trailer lights installed when I came to pick up my trailer. Kathy did everything in her power to help me get the lights kit I needed including checking if other uhaul stores had it in stock, calling each store to verify if they had it, and even helping me get in touch with an aftermarket dealer when no other stores had it available. She went above and beyond and was extremely helpful with the whole reservation process. In addition every other employee I interacted with demonstrated excellent customer service. If you want a stress free interaction with booking your uhaul, this location is the place!
