Had surgery in 2022 and two years later they send me a bill for a knee brace for 77.00….Academy sells them for 49.00 and they charged my insurance 750.00. This place is sketchy

The billing practices of this company are dishonest. I was given a bill of $495 a year after I had already paid my outstanding bill for equipment for a surgery. The bill makes no sense for the amount of equipment I was given and doesn't track with my insurance's billing records.

You may want to check on the service cost vs your insurance coverage. I was surprised with a $793.00 bill 10 months after the date of my first service. OUCH !!!
