Horrible people who flat out lie to you! Husband had knee replacement, company came into hospital, telling hubby he needed a passive motion machine, he called me at home and I told him, no that Medicare will not pay for it, the salesman flat out said "it's covered", they will pay for it! Well we received a bill for $284.23! Thats not covering it! They a bit angry that we are paying $10 a month to pay it off! Don't like companies that lie!!!

The billing practices of this company are dishonest. I was given a bill of $495 a year after I had already paid my outstanding bill for equipment for a surgery. The bill makes no sense for the amount of equipment I was given and doesn't track with my insurance's billing records.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company who is an In-Network provider with my insurance is attempting to balance bill me because they did not use the correct billing codes in their claim. 10 months after my surgery I received a bill from them for 495$ for a DVT compression device. They are claiming I owe them even though they are contractually obligated to accept my insurance's payment as payment in full. My insurance has sent them two warning letters saying they need to adjust my bill to 0$ and they keep sending them. Next step is Medical Mediators. I see this balance billing is something they do often. I want to believe that they are just incompetent and not willfully committing fraud but the more I see of these reviews the more I think they need to be investigated by the state regulators. At the very least we all need to convince our surgeons and Oak Bend medical to stop using them.

Hi, I personally got this handled after I received a bill for about $600. Had surgery in August 2023, received a sketchy bill for said amount at the end of the year for said amount. It was sketchy because it had no email on the invoice or website and just wanted me to pay with cc on the phone and it looked like they barely had enough ink to print the invoice. It just looked off & unofficial. I did receive some compression sock devices to keep my legs from clotting after surgery, but the nurses and doctors let me know insurance had agreed to cover all expenses and the hospital paid the contracted device people (i always ask staff before getting procedures because i work in legal field). I let the invoice sit around until i got a second one to see what the deal was. Never got a second one. so I called and they told me my balance was $0. Insurance and hospital did cover everything. Just make sure to check with insurance and hospital before paying the invoice from this company. staff was nice and helpful, I would just say it was off that they would invoice me directly when insurance and hospital assured all would be covered. it just made me uneasy.

You may want to check on the service cost vs your insurance coverage. I was surprised with a $793.00 bill 10 months after the date of my first service. OUCH !!!

This company is dishonest. I was given a bill of $495 a year after I had already paid my outstanding bill for equipment for a surgery, according to both their billing and my insurance. Then, a year later, they claimed to have filed for further equipment and posted the claim 9 months after the fact (why would they do this?), even though my insurance has no record of them filing an additional time. They tried to say they had already contacted me multiple times and pressure me with a "Final Notice" bill when I hadn't heard from them since my previous payment.

Update: after hearing nothing from this company and my insurance, I had hoped this was resolved. Nope. I just got the yellow bill with PAST DUE stamped in red. They have never produced any document which shows I approved this. And they haven't sent me the first bill they say they sent before the bill I received in February of this year.

I used this Therapeutic Solutions device after my total knee replacement. It automatically moves your knee in the range of motion that you set it to. It was very beneficial in my healing process. Thankful that Medicare and my BCBS supplement paid for the 21 days I used it.

This business is unethical! They bill you 1 1/2 years after the surgery for equipment that you did not request and also for equipment you did not receive. When you try to contact them, they say they will look into it or talk to their boss and call you back, they NEVER do! Just keep sending bills for different amounts with no explanations. Tried to charge a $450 "finance charge" on a $300 bill.

I got bill for those supplies during my surgery which I didn’t use it. I tried call multiple times. Each and every rep. are keep threatening me that if I don’t pay that bill then they will put it on my SSN. They are not letting me talk to higher authority. Be careful.

Received a bill for medical supplies I did not need or use for a surgery 2 YEARS ago!! Because they sent the bill late, I could not appeal the insurance claim. Customer service reps would not call me back and they continued to give me the go around for why they were justified in what they did. It’s extremely shady and based on other reviews I’m not the only one this has happened to. BEWARE!!

Great service and the equipment I had after both my TKR helped me so much. The guy took his time to explain how to work things. Thanks for everything and the patience with me asking so many questions.

This company is a total joke and fraud. They feed on people after a surgery. Not only do you have pain from your surgery you may need oxygen after getting a bill for something you did not ask for or even need. They billed my insurance $3,200 for a pair of plasmaflow leg compression sleeves, a ridiculously outrageous cost of their product. My insurance of course denied that part of the claim. I don't blame them. So, Therapeutic Solutions came after me for $440.00. And insisted I was going to pay for it. This is why we have such high insurance costs and premiums. Because of companies just like this one. I can buy these sleeves all day long for $100.00 anywhere. I decided to get with my Doctor and Oakbend hospital to find out if my doctor requested them. I asked Oakbend to mail me copies of my surgery paperwork. I asked them to send me anything that has Therapeutic Solutions on it. Not only did my Doctor not request them, I got proof from Oakbend that they were not signed for. I have attached a copy of the paperwork from Oakbend and the one I got from Therapeutic Solutions. The first copy is the one Oakbend mailed me. Notice next to plasmaflow/scd (top right hand side) there is no check beside it. The second copying the one that Therapeutic Solutions sent me. There happens to be a check next to plasmaflow. So, someone added the check after I signed the paper. Hmmm how does that happen? It is called fraud. They sure wanted to send me to collections before I sent them proof. Now that I have sent the proof to them, I haven't heard back from anyone. To be able to gouge people the way they do. So sad. They don't even deserve a one rating, they deserve a negative 5 rating. They have no conscience at all. They thrive on your pain and pocketbook. I am so sorry that you people have no heart or soul. The nerve to actually put a check on a copy of the paper and try to bill me. Things have a way of coming back around and biting you in the but. One day it will be your turn. If you have a surgery and therapeutic solutions is the one to supply your crutches etc.....check carefully the paperwork they send you.

Had knee surgery… hospital sent this contraption for me to use to bend knee. Someone from the company picked it up. Next thing I know I’m getting a bill for. Tried several times to have resolved… rude staff… eventually ended up in collections ruining my credit.
