We enjoyed staying here over the Thanksgiving Holiday. The room was nice, clean, and the best thing about the stay was the dog friendliness! The free shampoos and soaps actually smell good too. The hotel is tucked away from the highway, surrounded by a lot of tidy greenspaces and right behind a garden store. There are doggy bag stations posted around the perimeter of the building for easy clean up. Perfect for travelling with paw pals. The complimentary breakfast was much appreciated along with the coffee, tea, and hot chocolate down in the lobby. There is also a well stocked snack bar at the front desk. Would book again.Rooms: Nice and clean. A little small but perfect for a quick stay.Food & drinks: Continental breakfast and complimentary hot drinks. They also provide a snack bar in the lobby which was great.

Located right by the mall and restaurants. Rooms and service are a little bit spartan, consistent with room rate. Not over crowded like some of the other NASA contractor frequented hotels. 15 min to JSC in the morning rush.Nearby activities: Try Perry's Stekhouse in the mall.

The staff, from front desk to housekeeping to catering...professional and truly welcoming. I have never had a bad stay here and will always stay here when in town.

My family of 5 booked 2 rooms for a night here while visiting NASA. We are amazed. We love everything it has to offer. Great value. Staffs are accommodating, facility is new and modern, well decorated, rooms are spacious. Best in this level of hotels we ever stayed.

For the price? NO. Clean rooms and good service but no coffee maker. Last thing I want to do when I first wake up is go to the lobby to get coffee. No where to set toiletries in the shower and I don’t want mine on the floor. Clean rooms - you get a bed and a shower period. I expected more from a Hilton brand. Would not recommend.Rooms: For the price? No. Rooms were clean, service was good - but NO coffee maker. You get one lamp a bed and a shower with no where to set your shower necessities. The first thing I want when I wake up is coffee and the last thing I want to have to do is get dressed and have to go to a lobby to get a cup.

We like to stay at Tru by Hilton where ever we go. Stayed here because we were at a party near by and didn't want to drive home. This hotel is by Baybrook mall and tucked behind the shopping strips on Bay Area Blvd. Very comfy beds, black out screens and blindsNearby activities: Shopping, Good resturants Nasa, Clear Lake, etc.

It was mediocre given the price. The lobby is kid friendly though the pool was not operational at the time of our stay. With 100+ degree weather in south Texas, my expectation is that the pool should be operational, unfortunately it was not.The shower products and lotion were of good quality and the overall hotel was clean.I get the overall concept of the Tru hotel line, so keep in mind it’s not luxury nor upscale, but is kid friendly.

Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed an unusual odor. Despite the spaciousness of the room, throughout the night, the air conditioning unit generated various loud and disruptive noises that severely impacted my sleep quality. On the positive side, the hotel's location was fantastic, surrounded by numerous shops and malls, which added to the convenience of the stay.Nearby activities: The hotel's proximity to both Costco and Baybrook Mall provides easy access to a wide range of shops and dining options.

never booking with them again. arrived to the hotel and were denied our reservation because of an expired ID. was told we couldn’t change the reservation name or use my partners ID. then was told if we wanted to book another room it was going to be almost $200. they told us they couldn’t even give us our refund due to going through a third party, we called the third party and they told us they couldn’t refund it either. we were scammed out of $130 and was forced to scramble around at 11 p.m. at night to find another cheap hotel with what little money we had. they made no attempt to accommodate to us even after knowing we just drove from 3 hours away and had no where else to go.

Had a great experience staying here. Kamisha was very helpful and provided great customer service. Morning crew was very welcoming in accommodating our needs and more. Only thing I was disappointed on was pool appearance was green water. So wasn’t comfortable with swimming. Other than that. I would def recommend staying here.Rooms: Very cleanNearby activities: Was very convenient location for food and entertainment

We stayed at the Tru by Hilton. It was a nice hotel. Upon entry the lobby is really cool. It has plenty of places to sit and hang out and it has a large snack area. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. We got a room on the first floor which was convenient. The room was clean, and bright. It had two queen beds, a large Television, a really long counter/ desk top that held the TV and had space to put a chair under it. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were soft. I slept really well. The bathroom had a sink, large mirror, and counter. The towels were stored on a shelf underneath the sink. The bathroom had a shower which I prefer. My only complaint about the shower is that there was no place to put my bar soap or razor for shaving. I use bar soap that I bring from home when I travel. Overall it was a good overnight experience.
