A service technician from my company broke down luckily at the Weimar, TX exit where he was pointed to Don's Repair Shop. He was promptly attended to and the problem diagnosed. The serpentine belt broke along with one of the pulleys and made a real mess. I was told what the problem was and what it would take to repair it properly. Once I approved of the repairs, a diligent search for the right parts was made. My vehicle had add on equipment that made this more than a routine belt repair.
Parts were quickly ordered and I was told that it would take more than a week. Understandable. But I needed to get my service tech back on the road. I was offered options which they readily had at hand. They knew when the bus to San Antonio was coming through or they had the number of the local Uber driver who was willing to assist. At every turn they were helpful and had answers for what was needed.
I've been stranded in situations like that before and the people that my fate was in did not offer much reassurance as to what the next steps might be to help me out of my situation. The team at Don's were helpful at every step. Thank you for that.

My experience at Dons was the best experience I’ve ever had at a mechanic. Saved me several thousand from other shops that quoted me. Don fixed what was broke and didn’t try to throw in a bunch of extras. All else I can say is Don was an answered prayer !

Had a misfire on a Sunday night on the highway headed back to San Antonio from Houston. Don was able to accommodate us early on Monday last minute so my family and I did not have pay for another night's stay in a hotel. At a fair price, Don's diagnosis and repair got my family and I back on the road and back home safely that day. Thank you sincerely Don and staff.

A+++my car literally broke down on the highway near Don’s. They repaired my car back to working condition. Super friendly staff. Very fair price. I was at their mercy and they could have overcharged me, but they did not. I hope I never break down again, but if I do, I hope it’s near Don’s!
