We stayed for a week. Everyone was always friendly and welcoming. The front desk staff, maintenance, housekeeping and breakfast staff always had smiles. Always wanted to make sure everything was good with us and how we were doing. We will be staying here again on our way
back to Port Isabel for the winter. Plus the afternoon chocolate chip cookies were always wonderful. They take pride in their hotel. I would definitely recommend to others.

Nice clean hotel. The only complaint i had was that I was in the 4th floor and there was something on the roof that was humming loudly all night long. I had to run the fan constantly to drown it out. Other than that, it was a good stay.

For almost a month, Roaxanna and the crew at the Hampton Inn Weslaco were AMAZING! Excellent customer service, clean facility & rooms, great stay!!!

Usually I enjoy staying here. They updated the thermostats, so, at least in my room, it would automatically reset to 74 every day. I work nights, so I would wake up to a hot room every day, despite turning it down to 68 to sleep. The shower also took about 10 minutes to warm up, and even then wasn’t very hot. Parking is always good, as is the breakfast.

Front desk people were nice :)
Unfortunately, the rooms were so moist the moment you walk in. More humidity than outside somehow. The floors/carpets were STICKY??? Probably from the nasty moisture in the room. The breakfast was not good. Hard bland biscuits, and some peppers plastic feeling sausages. Yeesh. The best part about breakfast somehow was the oatmeal. (Says a lot)
LASTLY, the hallways carpets were....a choice 😬.

Alright Fellow Travelers, sometimes the journey takes us to places like Weslaco, down in the Texas Rio Grande Valley. When you're looking for a dependable spot, a familiar name like Hampton Inn often fits the bill, and my recent stay there was pretty much what you'd hope for.
First off, the essentials were well-covered. The room was clean, no problem there! And in South Texas, a good air conditioner isn't a luxury, it's a necessity, and thankfully, the A/C here was great, providing a cool escape. Big points also for the friendly service – you always appreciate a genuine smile when you're checking in or asking for local tips. Plus, the internet was quick, which is crucial for planning your next day's drive or researching those nearby birding spots.
Now, about the shower – the water temperature was spot on, nice and warm. However, the pressure... well, it was a bit underwhelming. More of a gentle sprinkle than an invigorating blast. It did the job, but if you love a powerful shower, just manage your expectations.
Overall, though? The Hampton Inn Weslaco delivered that reliable comfort and cleanliness the brand is known for. It’s a solid, friendly, and cool place to recharge your batteries when you're exploring the Valley. Sometimes, predictable comfort is exactly what a traveler needs! Happy travels!

Stayed for the night for my daughter's birthday specifically for the pool. Pool was sparkling clean, they put us on the floor level which was nice to be close to the pool. The staff was very friendly, let us check in early and stay late the next day to swim again. Breakfast was bacon, eggs and refried beans. Beds were clean, no bugs and we didn't get bit by anything while we slept. One con: There was a very musty mildewy smell in the room. We were in a handicap room and noticed some mold in the shower but we didn't use it anyways so it didn't bother us. We would stay again for the kind staff and the pool.
