The store presentation was clean and organized; very inviting product presentation for the most part. Your sales staff (2 females) were absolutely not engaged with customers at all. They looked frustrated and bored. At one point each was standing across from each other in the store buffing their nails and checking their hair for what seemed like split ends. They looked at us with a straight and stern face. No one asked if we needed assistance at first. Then they appeared annoyed to get a pair of 2 shoe size boxes. I became upset myself and asked my son to leave because they ignored his question on another product.I visited the store again to purchase a gift because I had no other choice — it was late and I was using a gift card.The same experience occurred. Both females appeared to be gossiping at the counter and seemed annoyed at having to get a price for some products I wanted. It was never like this before until recently. It used to be our favorite store and the associates were friendly and knew us by first name after a few visits. The females currently operating the store in these few visits have convinced us not to go back again. I will shop and struggle online or go to lengths to avoid this store. I understand sales because I was once an associate myself and we were evaluated on often. We would have never been allowed to demonstrate this poor, uninterested, entitled and rude customer service without being written up, and warned or retrained on good practices with buyers regardless of the traffic numbers for the store. I hope this is a true and valid survey about customer experience at this store because it needs improvement in this area if you hope to gain sales and new customers. If this is merely to read and decide that customers only complain and surveys are fun to read only, then your store will eventually close down and your two employees currently at the store will continue buffing their nails and gossip at another newly established business. We are very disappointed that we won’t be returning to a store we regarded as up and coming in our town. Thank you

Good quality sportswear, not too pricey, but not cheaply made either. Mid Valley location is nice when wanting to avoid McAllen traffic.

I am a new customer to Hibbett Sports and I love this place I have been here the times now and the items that you cannot find in store they automatically will order for you online and allow you to either pick it up there with them or have it sent directly to your home. The one thing I did appreciate was the customer service I kid you not every time I was there the employees all greet you and make sure your being helped and they are so polit. I know that's the way employees should be but unfortunately they are not always kind yet want time I went to Hibbett they showed me so much positive energy and that will always be a reason for be to return as a Happy customer. Thank you for your great customer service that you provide and the infectious positivity that you share it's welcoming. 😊😳
