Very great service and great customer service

Unfortunately we had the pleasure to deal with a RETURNS employee called WENDY she was arrogant and upset over a return we were trying to deal with. When I spoke to her she would barely let me speak, and the second time I called and asked for the manager she huffed and puffed like she was very upset. They need to answer the phones, get more employees if there is too much going on. But mostly my bad experience was her attitude towards a customer that in no way mistreated her for her to act in such a way. Perhaps she needs some retraining?
I have been a loyal Home Depot customer for years and this is the first time we felt like we were treated very poorly by this employee and perhaps by the people around them. If we were in the wrong it was because we were told something by Home Depot Online and then Home Depot store said it was not true, who do I believe? I have proof of different reps telling me to go to the store, I didn't make it up.
At the end the issue was resolved by a manager but I was still told I was wrong, literally didn't care me saying that I had been sent by Home depot online, if Home depot online (were I purchased the item) had told me you can't do this, then ok I would not have gone to the store and wasted my time! When I talked to them initially about warranty they told me that I had 5 years with the manufacturer and I could also return in store. So if they want to be upset at someone be upset at Home Depot Online!
By the way I only spoke to the manager once, so its not like I was screaming in his face demanding the return be done.
Surely will be the last time I step into that location, very disappointed.

My hubby and I went to this home depot in Weslaco as soon as we walked in the door we requested assistance from a worker, but all she did was point to where all the ant killer products seemed annoyed by the question. Then when we went to seek for a piece of chain we seeked assistance and the guy whom attended to us stated he was not from this dept and would ask someone else to assist. Then he ended up returning to assist us. As we tried to pay the customer service cashier asked us for the paper stating the product code. Which she just stared at us and kept repeating that without it she could not charge. I had to go look for someone to help me out with this because she did not bother to look for assistance herself. Idk what type of customer service help this was but definitely today was a horrible experience at home depot.

I went with an old gallon of paint that could not be opened. It was all rusted. Despite the line in paint department, John made sure to help me. It was difficult for him to open and he didn’t let me leave the store with unsolved problems. Eddie in Tool Rental also was a huge help. Thank you to the both of you!!! Two very helpful gentleman despite a busy rush hour.
