Overpriced and below average skills. Asked Carla for a simple straight haircut and she couldn’t even do that right. This haircut cost me $115 😂 If she can’t cut hair I doubt she knows how to color.
Edit: dear owner, regardless of my issues with the other salon, this specific haircut was done at your salon, so I have rights to show what YOU did and how you did it. I see that you feel like blaming someone else for this and even brought up the other salon into this. But this was cut was done by you.
Since you brought up other salon, then you know when you agreed to help. You also said in the salon my hair was too damaged to color. You said you don’t know how to write statement and I agreed to write it for you. Upon checking you told me what to correct and I did. You asked bunch of additional information which I provided you. You wasted my time waiting, even though you could simply say “no” right away. You don’t have integrity and now you are making up reasons to make it look like the BAD haircut can be justified. I wish you good luck with your business too. “Thank you”.

I highly recommend Venus Styles Salon! Carla always does an amazing job with my hair whether is color, styling, or cutting. She is patient and willing to listen to exactly what you want. The salon is always clean and relaxing. Carla has even helped me fix my hair color after getting it done elsewhere.
I travel all the way from Edinburg to see Carla because I trust her with my hair. She’s the best!

My first visit here and the owner Carla was my stylist today! She was super sweet and made me feel so welcomed. I just did a touch up but she did amazing. Super gentle and the vibes were just immaculate. Already scheduled my next appt with her!

I had my first and second appointments here within the same week and loved every bit of my experience with Carla and Ruby. Carla did wonders with my hair, and Ruby left my skin feeling new and refreshed! The service was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the ambience was so relaxing. Highly recommended! 5 stars, ladies!

Went in for highlights. decided on packet for color, cut and style. Highlights are okay. Not what I wanted but okay. She is nice and inquisitive but does not know how to cut hair! Totally ruined my haircut. I would've preferred an honest, "I can't do that" (Which was just a trim/shaping). DO NOT RECOMMEND!

It was my first time at this salon, I wanted to try a new place and Mrs Carla was friendly and talkative, I went in with highlights and light brown hair and dark roots. The end result wasn't bad it's an okay color, but I don't like that the heights are still lighter so my hair looks patchy and it's not all the same color, but I get that maybe that would have been a lengthy process or maybe even more expensive and I appreciate that Carla did my hair on Dec 31, as most places are closed. I payed 110 just for her dying my hair, then she started to blow dry and style my hair, at no point at all was I asked if I'd like my hair styles and it was my first time at this salon, usually for the price and at previews places they dry my hair after and it's part of the original charge. I wouldn't have minded going home to style my own hair, I like to do my hair and I would have preferred it but I figured if she didn't mention a charge it was part of the 110. When it was time to pay Mrs Carla tells me it's 110 for the hair dying and 35 for the styling, which I didn't request and she never offered, I don't think it's fair to do something on your client without asking because as I stated I would have preferred to go home and do my own styling for free not 35, it might not be a lot but that ruined my experience, and I don't want to nor will I be coming back. I do thank you for your work and the shampoo advise.
