I am usually not very particular when it comes to nail services and I hardly ever leave a negative review.
However, after getting both a manicure and pedicure at Magnolia nail salon in Austin, TX, I am deeply disappointed by the service offered. When I arrived, the water had been sitting in the bowl luke warm and still. Despite the slow service at the time of arrival, employees were sitting around on their phone, uninterested in the experience of their customers. The only particularity I had was that the nail technician be aware of the blister on my toe. After I requested that she avoid that spot, she continued to rub her finger over it, neglecting any focus of being gentle or taking her time. I had a different technician for my finger nails and both seemed rushed and their communication with me was demeaning. I also came with a friend who received a pedicure from a man who continually rubbeo her legs up past the knee, under her mid-thigh shorts (Which is highly inappropriate in this profession unless requested). She made it aware that she was uncomfortable and the employee continued to massage past the knee towards upper thigh, making eye contact, contributing to the demeaning atmosphere of the salon. I could list a few other concerns, however I do not want this business to tank, I only hope they change most things about their appropriateness and attentiveness.
Mothers of young children, please consider the inappropriate behavior of the male nail technician in case you are considering taking your kids for a pedicure.

Worst experience at a nail salon I’ve ever had. The service was awful. It was so rushed and poorly done. Very sad about this experience. Do not recommend this salon for ANY service.

Came here because it seemed like a cute but very professional salon but I’m now very disappointed. The tech did not properly polish my nails the coating was so uneven and it chipped off after 2 days! I paid 85 for a mani pedi just to think I could’ve done better myself.

I have loved my experience here! I appreciated how gentle my technician was when removing the sns dip from my nails so that it didn’t damage them, she really took her time to make sure everything was perfect

Hours say they open at 9:30am, but we’re sitting here at 9:45 and they’re still not open nor is anyone answering the phone. They’ve already had one potential customer come and leave and we’re about to leave too.

I went here to get birthday nails! I had the sweetest lady doth my nails. The place was clean and cute! Everyone was very nice! Definitely coming back!!
