We can’t say enough great things about Primrose of Westlake! All staff, teachers, chefs, and owners really lean in and care for the kids. Week 1 everyone knew our daughter’s name and how she was doing. The teachers are so caring! Nutritional meals and snacks provided. Fantastic new facility. No shortage of supplies. Love the curriculum and play balance. Our daughter loves it and is growing/maturing within the program!! Thank you Primrose of Westlake ?

Noticed the teachers can sometimes have a very high turn over rate.. Kids thrive on consistency and a routine. I also saw the owner responded to a review saying, her and her husband are there everyday. This is simply just not true. I’ve been there and asked to speak with either one of them before. Just to be told they aren’t there and I could speak with someone else in their management team.

As many others have shared, Haley would not give pricing or an estimate on waitlist availability until you come in to tour the facility. We were told to give a number we feel comfortable paying and they will tell us if they are in the price range, which seems absurd. We currently live an hour away, which makes this almost impossible while working a full time job. I’ve spoken with many daycare facilities, and getting basic information has never been a problem.

Paying $350 upfront just to be on waiting list without knowing when we would get the child admit is negative for this school.

Primrose School in Westlake is an impressive facility that stands out from the outside. While I haven't been inside yet, the exterior of the building and the surrounding grounds make a great first impression. The design is modern and welcoming, and the landscaping is well-maintained, which gives the facility a clean and polished look. Overall, Primrose School in Westlake seems like a great option for families looking for quality childcare, and I'm excited to explore it further in the future. Highly recommended based on the initial impression.

They do not disclose pricing with anyone until you tour the school. Why would anyone take time out of their day to for a tour without knowing the price upfront? This is the ONLY daycare I have ever been in contact with that does this.

Recently moved to this area and transferred our child from another Primrose. We were worried he wouldn't take the move well, but the staff at Primrose of Westlake have done an exceptional job at welcoming him and helping him with the transition. We love Primrose!

As a previous infant and pre-k teacher at Primrose School of Westlake at Entrada, I can 100% say that all of the amazing teachers here are dedicated and determined to make sure that your child has the best care and education they can could possibly receive. Not only is it a private preschool, but they are a family and put the children’s needs above anything else. I am so blessed to have gotten to build relationships with all the staff and the children and, without a doubt, encourage all families to enroll here!

If I could give this school 100 stars I would! Our son has attended since 2019 and I can honestly say that our time here has been one of the most joyous childcare experiences of our three kids. Let me say this upfront on disclosure of pricing…is the cost the most important thing when looking for child care? Think about that. As a business owner, and you’d understand if you have ever owned one, you must show VALUE provided before sharing the cost. If you know, you know. If you don’t understand that, then I’m not sure you ever will. There isn’t a more important financial investment that we make into our son than at this school, and we are glad to pay it. The McCombs’s are easily the most caring and conscientious people we’ve ever worked with, from the way they treat the children in their care, to the way they hire, train and care for their employees. They put so much effort into everything, right down to holiday family time with the kids at school to special activities and they are so good at all the “little things” that make Moms and Dads feel good. In our experience, they have gone WAY out of their way to report to us ANY minor thing that has ever happened in class or on the playground. Even the most minuscule tumble or scratches get put on an incident report, and always has. The teachers and leadership team here is incredible, and if I could keep our son here past Kindergarten we would. It pains me to see negative reviews get posted here when it’s from people who never even worked with Mandi and Kevin. Visit with them, take the time, and you’ll understand what a great place this is for your children.

Our children attend Primrose School of Westlake at Entrada (PSWE). After searching the area for the best daycare/preschool, we identified PSWE, toured the facility, and met the owners. The facility is safe and clean, the owners are passionate about the children, and the staff and teachers are very nurturing. The curriculum is well-balanced and prepared our daughter well for kindergarten. We trusted the school enough to later enroll our infant there as well. The owners, teachers, and staff communicate exceptionally well, and we have no concerns while our children are there. Five stars well earned!

I can’t say enough great things about this school! We started when our son was 2 after trying and leaving many other local daycares. We are so happy to have tired primrose Westlake. We have always had a positive experience with the owners, leadership, and staff. I also like that all of the events they have, the app to see daily activities, the happy grams and that nutritious meals and snacks are served. Thanks y’all for your hard work!

I can’t speak to the level of care but I can say that it is a pretty ridiculous request that they expect parents to put up $350 for registration per child without knowing when they would be able to place your student. There is no dropdead date that if they don’t place your child within for say, a year that you are guaranteed your money back. I have twins. Why on earth would I give them $700 with no right to refund should they not be able to place my child within 365 days. I chose to take my business elsewhere for this reason.*****UPDATE: per franchisees response below. I did not have immediate care needs. I had flexibility. Second your response which leads those reading these reviews to believe you are willing to work with families is a fallacy. We spoke, the outcome didn’t change. The registration fee, in my opinion, is a profit center. Beware families.

WAS considering this place for my 7-month-old but unsure now after reading reviews. Why is this the ONLY place that won't provide any pricing over the phone? Customer service is the first impression and seems to lack everywhere these days and the one place I want to feel heard and is who will/would be caring for my child. I do not want to waste our time touring if it is not in our budget. My husband travels quite a bit for work and I work full time 30 mins away. I used to work at daycare in Southlake (years ago) for a total of 5 years and find it odd that you HAVE to schedule a tour just to get pricing! Also, wondering why is the owner only responding to negative reviews? I believe it is important to respond to ALL reviews - otherwise appears you only care about the ones that will have a direct impact on your Google rating. To the previous lengthy and well written negative review months ago; I am concerned that incidents were NOT reported, especially if a kid fell then bruised and vomiting occurred. In my previous experience (with another well-known daycare, again years ago) we had to document EVERYTHING and informed parents immediately! If a school omits documenting, then it is most likely due to the school not wanting to get "flagged" and receive a visit from the state. Just my two cents!I know the owner said "reach out to me directly" per negative review but why?! Just address the issue/concern, otherwise, looks like a blanket auto response.

We were amongst the first families to sign-up at Primrose School of Westlake Entrada (PSWE) and had a wonderful experience for four years. We have referred multiple families, who also have told us that the experience has exceeded their expectations. Our daughter did the after-school program, while our son started there when he was one and we trusted Mandi, Kevin, and the staff all the way until our son finished private kindergarten and it was time to move on. Both of our children learned so much while at PSWE. It's been a year since we've been at PSWE, but I regularly reflect fondly on the experience. I hope that all parents with young children can find a place as wonderful for their children as PSWE was for us.
