This restaurant is amazing. I ate the chicken Fried chicken and the mash potatoes and it was one of the best plates I’ve ever tasted. I also tried the brisket and it was also good. The desserts are good especially the lemon pie . This restaurant a hidden gem and I’ll definitely eat here again. It only took me 5 minutes to get my plate of food extremely fast. The owners are also nice and super helpful.

They had me as soon as I saw the brisket and the cornbread dressing.? God bless the cook! Mmm it was scrumptious. I loved it! Fast and friendly service the best place in Wharton Tx to eat!

If you want down home old school cooking this place is for you, the interior had a real classic vibe to it and the food was great, the hamburger steak and sides hit the spot and the service was very friendly. I'd highly recommend this place if you want a meal that sticks to your ribs.

My parents bought 2 turkey and dressing plates which was delicious. My dad’s total was $30+for two plates. While looking at his receipt he realized they charged him gratuity for two plates to go. Is this even legal???!?

Almost 20 dollars for a small plate of turkey and dressing and 2 sides and a small tea. Too expensive to me for what you get .

This place has truly home cooked food. It's only really open at lunch time, but whatever you get you won't regret it. I got a hamburger steak with gravy, rice, and macaroni. It was all perfect!

One of the best burgers I've had in a very long time. Was driving back home to Corpus and glad I found this hidden gem. Will be back on the next drive up to Houston.
