“Happy State Bank is the bomb. Have banked with them since high school. Have been all over the US and overseas and never once have had any issues despite them being a local bank. Don’t plan on banking anywhere else. 10/10 recommend!!”

“I am Robert Christopher Skelly, age 53, son of John Prestley (Skelly) [07 May 1925-16 Oct 1998] and Wanda Lee Davis (Skelly) Adams Rocco [07 July 1927-14 January 2020], their very last production child, 5 of 5, born on 24 October 1967 which four years later would become [and is] United Nations Day.I do not know how I may be somehow a relative of Skellytown's original pioneer, W.G. Skelly. However, I am an immediate family member of U.S. Army Specialist 4 Steven Gene Skelly, who served but lost his life in the Vietnam War conflict. He was my firstborn brother, he lived from 17 November 1948-13 November 1969.He and I appear to resemble one another in very early photographs. There exists one single photograph of he and myself, along with our other two brothers. Eric Todd Skelly, and Johnnie Lee Skelly. We also have a single sister, Sandra Kay (Skelly) Davis Phillips Kirk, their ages, in that order: 55, 68, and 73.I am interested in Skellytown, Texas, U.S.A..I would like to know if the Skelly service station still remains there.I once knew that there was a Skellytown, Texas Chamber of Commerce, and I received a response from a Mr. Ed Benz about my questions about Skellytown, Texas, U.S.A..Also, my primary curiosity here was about the two buildings that are juxtaposed next to each other just south of the Credit Union.I have guessed what might be there, or was at some point in time.My guesses: Liquor Store, Saloon, nope, women things, oh, maybe beauty shop, ladies first, so, thus, next to that a barber shop, for men.Grocery or convenience stores, might anyone have these in Skellytown, TX., U.S.A.?A review response hereon would be helpful.”
