“This place accepts donations, so they’ve lost the plot a bit on reasonable pricing. Like any thrift, there is always something to see. It is pretty organized and nicely kept.”

“I find the cutest stuff here!! Follow them on Instagram and you will always be able to see what the extra discount for the day is. They frequently discount 40% off everything in the store. It is also pretty well organized. I also highly recommend shopping here rather than Goodwill or another chain because you know the profits are going towards supporting women and their children. My only complaint is the fitting rooms are closed. Since you cannot return the clothes, I have frequently put stuff back on the rack because I wasn’t sure if it would fit me.”

“Very clean and organized store. The prices are decent for infants clothing. Everything is organized by size and easy to look through. All on hangers. The staff is friendly. Love this store. There are some goodwill stores that are cheaper, like the one on campus. Everything on campus is in big blue bins. They're easy to go through and price is determined by weight on campus. sometimes, the organization is preferred over discount. I like this store though because the prices aren't as high as some goodwill stores with hung up clothing like the one on Mansfield hwy that used to be majestic. The one on Mansfield hwy is organized. Kind of small, but they do have nice clothing.”

“Parking is limited, but the staff is friendly and will help prop the door if you are carrying in bulky items. They do NOT accept furniture at this drop off location.”

“Store itself is great. Had an uncomfortable and frankly, inappropriate exchange with the woman who cashed us out, though. For some reason, she felt the need to ask my husband if both of our kids who were with us, were his. That’s a touchy subject for friends or family, let alone a total stranger to ask another total stranger. I don’t know what intrigued her to ask this, but the staff here need a quick crash course on customer service and appropriate interactions. From a former retail manager, do better.”

“Great little honey hole. You can find great brands for woman for under 10 bucks. Also in men's clothes too. If you are a dvd person. This place is a honey hole as well. They have e great selection most of the time. The place is very organized and doesn't smell. Very clean place”

“Easy drop off for a few bags or boxes. Just note other locations would probably be easier for furniture or large items since I don’t recall seeing a drive up. My quick visit went smoothly.”

“I love this goodwill! I’ve made some super good finds here but also miss Tina at the register is an awesome woman. She was thankful we asked before stepping behind the counter to grab drinks from the fridge, and today the receipt printer wasn’t working when I’d wanted our receipt for a receipt scanner app but I figured it is what it is. A few moments after we got to our car, she rushed up to the window with the receipt for us. Super thankful for that! She very well could’ve just left it but she brought it to us. Will definitely be back both for the cool finds and the nice cashier!”

“This thrift store is FABULOUS! I was visiting from Houston & my girlfriend brought me here. Very high-end clothes for women. You can tell they were expensive. Very
reasonable prices on knickknacks vases, etc. Would highly recommend. We got there about 12 on a Saturday and the place was packed!”

“Huge thrift store. Mostly clothing but they also have bags/purses, some baby items bedding and shoes. I'd say 90% of the store is clothing. It's divided up by gender/kids and type: long dresses, short dresses, shorts, capris, etc. They recently added dressing rooms so that's a huge plus! Check the big screen on the back wall to see what tags are on sale. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the shoes and kids clothes aren't divided up by size. Otherwise you'll find some great items here.”

“I came here to offer my review of the Family Thrift on Hulen. First, they do seem more clean than most thrift stores and “organized” from its days on McCart. I should say mostly organized, as really have to go through things. That may not necessarily be the employees, but maybe customers not placing items back in the correct spot. I do find that things can be pretty pricey here. If the item is not worth it to me, then I don’t purchase it. I have left there pretty bummed, not being able to purchase something. But clearly, who is going to pay more than what they would at a store when purchasing the item brand new at another store. Not me! That being said, I have had some really great finds, you just have to take the time to look. I enjoy thrifting, so I don’t mind flipping through the clothes or whatnot. One of the things I take issue with is the prices on home items, decor etc…Very overpriced! I like to pick up unique items…dishes, things I can use for crafting or decorate with. As another reviewer stated, she likes to be left to just roam, look at things and shop. And that hasn’t been an issue for me. The first time I went in there after they opened, an employee reminded me about taking hangers off. Again, this doesn’t bother me. 1. I can get out of there faster 2. things won’t get stretched while they are in a hurry 3. I have something to do, while waiting in line. Heck, at least I don’t feel like I have to check myself out, like in the big box stores! All of this to say…Are some items more pricey or not worth what you want to pay? If yes, then don’t buy it. I do the same and it is frustrating but you do the same at any other store. Yes, they are donated items, they do give to charity but they also have overhead ie. Paying employees, keeping the lights on. Amongst other things. If there’s an employee being rude, talk to a manager, if the manager does nothing escalate the process if the issue is big enough. Organization could be better…by size, not color. And keeping fitting rooms open until closing time, keeping in mind of your own zero return policy. Overall, I do enjoy shopping here. I just keep in mind that I will spend time browsing, trying on, keeping up with the prices as they are being rang up and ignoring the people that feel the need to be rude. And remember, it could be another shopper being rude. Oh and one more thing! And this is the one that probably bothers me the most. The people in the back have the music turned up so loud from the back. It’s as if there’s a party going on back there. Heck, I love music, even loud music but there is a time and place. It has been so loud that I couldn’t hear myself think. And have had my child call me , wondering where I was because of the loud music. Anyways, just wanted to share that.”
