About Camp Sweeney
Camp Sweeney is a fantastic summer camp for children and teens with diabetes, providing a caring and in-sync environment where they can feel normal. It is a place where friendships begin and never end, offering tons of activities and a chance for kids to branch out. Campers build lifelong friendships and gain life skills, walking away from an experience that is the happiest part of childhood for many. The camp reflects a huge, caring heart, with amazing counselors, staff, and mentors who make the summer special. A fantastic summer camp that gives a child with diabetes two and one-half weeks to feel normal living with diabetes and build lifelong friendships. After all, Camp Sweeney is “where friendships begin and never end.” Sweeney has been a very positive influence to our family and diabetic child for quite a few years.

My sister went here when she was a kid. I know very little about Camp Sweeney, but thank you all so much for making her experience there the happiest part of her childhood.❤️
